Thks DEV! Yeah, my wife look after all the small kids and I am the only one hunting for the quotations. Occassionally, my sister follow me along..... Ask them for quotation and email to me first before I go and look for him. Can I do that? Will they want that or will they rather meet up than mail the quotation? Thanks. HAPPY

Recently talked to my neighbours about granite. She went to one of the showflats and was told how the tilers lay. "Apply a layer of wax, lay, polish the line, wash, and apply something (secret) on the granite again, So that water will not be suck up to the granite." My neighbours shot back at the contractors, if water split, immediate wipe it off lah! You mean everyday so careless mey! So, asked around and came back this answer, granite dont need to be wax again. Those need to wax are maybe resale falt, maybe need to wax to make it clear again. New granite actually dont need. If wax again, it will make the floor sticky and artificial. Overtime, the wax will wear off and when light shine on it, you will be able to see patches.

I am not sure whether can do it here openly... I will email them asking for quotation. But dont know whether they can just email me the quotation. I feel really tired to go down and listen to them for at least 2 hours!

Good morning neighbours Last night, talk to one id and he asked me whether the piping is outside or inside. I told him I am not sure. He told me if it is conceal, then it is ok (dont need to change copper pipe). Ask why? He said in future if kitchen cabinet is up, and sway sway pipe leak (due to pvc, then got problem liao. Cabinet might have to tear down. That cost money! So anyone knows whether pipe is outside or inside?? Hi Got the quote from U home, way above my budget. No idea....thought of asking my neighbours whether can go with him or not (he's staying at 15 floor). Other than that, seem like no show flat laio.
