Hi JS21, I think if your usage is not heavy, any air-con will be fine for you cause the different may not look large enuff. I think price and durability will be the main considerations... Am a heavy usage person, so i get inverted and energy saving aircon.. coz when my bill come i will be in shock... =)

I think those man climb out from the kitchen window, my neighbour, they actually climb out from the kitchen but with safety harness... anyway for me, i will just ask them to find a way to get it done without cutting anything and let me know how they do it...

I think you should leave a comfortable gap for your fridge, for me i regreted for no planning a bigger space for my fridge and washing machine. now the gap between both fridge and washing machine is about 1cm and about 1.5cm from my kitchen carbinet. Air-con compressor can be big and bulky, hdb have a standard guideline for compressor space.. So compressor should be able to go thru the window... For me i install invertor aircon.. ALthough now our area maybe very windy, it maybe due to year end season.. So is better to have inverted aircon standby for season that had no wind...

Am using MHI system3 inverted... Very good and quiet aircon... Alot of ppl purchase starmex cause is well known and expensive.. MHI and starmex are both manufacture in china, but technology for MHI from Japan and starmex from US and asia pac.. I got my air con form H==G T=R too.. good workmanship, friendly and good after service mangament... Importantly MHI is cheaper than starmex and i trust japanese engineering.... I went to japan mostly of the shopping center using MHI brand aircon...

I mean on the carpentry itself, some of the edge or underneath area especially cupboard, they actually use capentry paint rather than laminate, normally white colour. Sometime they will forget cause alot of carpentry. So must check and let them know...

Just now saw you downstair, i went dinner with my wife. I think by next week more or less done.. Check those underneath part of your capentry, sometime they will forget to paint or lay laminate..

sure... lookin forward to see your house design... btw dun get furniture from home2be.. madness, service very very poor, the deliver guy send my parent bedframe and knock onto my passageway box up area, it chip off a big piece.. They still argue with my wife say is not cause by them... they say no chip off piece found on the floor, but was found underneath the bedframe... my wife was alone in the hse, so she scare and ask them to leave immediately.. i was so mad, i demand a compensate from home2be..

Normal lor.. sometime I change my mind or think of something just a hour after confirm something with Dave.. alway kanna scolding from him... hehehe.... but he is ok la.. I initially feel that too, i very worry too, so i went down everyday to check and anything that i feel is not right, i report to Dave immediately. He alway tell me, the house is mine, i am staying inside not him, so he alway tell me to choose something that you like. reno is very subjective, i think you have to communicate with her often. btw i choose my paint colour first, then laminate colour. Dave ask to go hm think of the colour that i like, i choose a few colour with my wife and he select two colour from my choice and tell mi it will be nice. i take his advice, once the house paint up, i know what laminate colour to use liao with his advice, i had hard time at intra, struggling with laminate colour but Dave very very patient with mi and my wife, he help use alot in choosing colours, but personally feeling, do something you like .. hehehe... i think too long winded liao... I think you better talk to her, when i confirm my carpentry, Dave say cannot change liao... Some little modification can be done, but change of design i think is impossibe..

My ID charge me 250 per door in all bedroom and toliet door, main door FOC so didnt know the main door price. actually the carpentry and laminate doors are done by his brother. Initially they very very reluctant to do for me cause alot of work.. But my wife and I presuade them very very long then they agree.. I think he only do it for his customer that let him reno the whole house.. you can drop by my flat to have a look, 17-306
