Cos i can still see the red and blue tape on your tiles XD or is it that we need to paste back the indication???

Hi Devi, The layout is as follows. I am trying to see if a wet and dry area is still possible ... but as the rectangular is long and narrow, it a bit difficult to portion the area ... .. this diagram is a bit misleading as actually the area is a bit narrower. need to go and take some more picture to study again... haha

BTW i realised from the few blogs i can see the real ceiling of the toilets ... mine has a false ceiling ... the height is so intimidating! Dun understand why a false ceiling made of wood in the toilet. I wonder if i can remove those false ceilings? The 5-year warranty against leaking, should be for the real ceiling?

Thanks in advance. i read the post on toilet renov and realised the toilet ceiling is higher than mine. Did you do anything to it that i missed? My toilet false ceiling is so low that i feel intimidated.. imagine having a plank across your mesh lighting. I wonder what start nesting there... i feel the design of my toilet is deceiving, smaller than hdb showflat... felt cheated lol

Thanks for replying on the cost of 3D drawing, need an estimate cos looking for an ID to draw 3D drawings only. Already got my contractor but he need some drawings. Wah randomly reading your convos and saw you talking about grant... guess not all are eligible ... i only got a $2.5k grant, haha just be grateful lah. I realised cos you already have an idea of what you want so it becomes easier to accustom if there are difficulties. I got my keys but not started any renov cos been busy with other things. Anyway there are still defects to be rectified and after that i have to do cement smoothing as ididnt opt for tiles. Plus i think there will be some delay with hdb assigning a contractor to me. Anyway, my headache is the toilet with 2 doors and shower area right in the middle... in front of the wc... sigh don't know how so only can think of shower curtain. on a happy side, i already thinking of what to (learn to) cook once i have ny own kitchen and also interested in knowing more of how u prepare for your lunch on sunday to bring to office during weekday? Maybe the food blog can continue at your wordpress page? Congrats!! So envy!! can I request a photo of your living room and bedroom together? Meaning looking into your bedroom from the living room diagonally also can and then from your bedroom out to your living room. I want to see how it look like for reference. Or did I miss any of such photos?

I have tried two things to clean the stains both works for me... 1) toothpaste, the one i used have whitening effect, it doesnt work on my teeth so i used it to clean the sink (amazing results) 2) baking soda

So the contractor doing the renov is engaged by your ID? I have found a contractor but not found an ID yet. Wondering if I could just engage an ID alone...

Thanks for these useful info, i am overwhelmed when my friend gave me a "tutorial" on renov stuff, gonna get my appartment next year and I don't have a clue where to start. i found your write up so useful though the layout is slightly different and i might have a bit of difficulty with the toilet to begin with. Anyways please update more often.
