  2. Couldn't comment much cos u need to provide measurement and price per unit. Eg how long is your kitchen? Top and bottom? How much per foot run? For 10ft kitchen cabinet, price can range from 1900 to 3800 base on 190 pfr and 380 pfr.

Besides, your tiling for 503 sf at 4.1k and max 2.8 psf tile sounds steep. 600 x 600 = 2sf = 2x2.8 = $5.6 per piece Have you been to see or select tile? Have you consider u might select tile priced higher/lower than what has been quoted to u? 2.8 psf is consider in the low range.

  10. Did u sign any commission letter with your agent? GST applies and if u r in very good term with your agent normal they can absorb on good will. Your agent should have submitted your application and gotten 1st app date, depends on the traffic, waiting time can be 2 to 3 months. As for moving in early, it all depends on the seller, the house is only yours after the completion of sales at the 2nd appt.

  14. Is that your only quotation? Can't comment much as I did my reno a year ago and chances are pricing could have been changed. So it is better u get more quotations and compare. I believe u should have many other quotation to compare prices with. Just one comment, from your quote i guessed that u r keeping the kitchen cabinet structure and changing the door and some modifications. But have you consider redoing everything, tearing down and redesign the kitchen cabinet to your taste/liking. Your total for kitchen store room item 1 to 6 is already 2.2k. Why not get a new one, pfr is about 190 to 260 top and bottom, 10 ft give 1.9k to 2.6k, kitchen top about 700 for 10ft. So taking 1.9k + 700 = 2.6k for a new one compare to 2.2k old and modified. Please check with your contractors the price for cabinet.
  15. Yes, you should hack and replace with new ones. Your 5 rms will probably cost your about 2k to 2.5k hacking fee. But this $$ cannot save have to spend.

  20. Give u a tip, use wrought iron paint to paint your stair rail. Normal paint will not last. I done up sliding door, don't like the folding one cause my experience with folding door is not good, tends to spoilt easily.
  21. my 23 years old em too. Cover it with roof and level with your living room, it will look very big.
  22. Same here i kept the marble flooring give it a good polish, kept the parquet varnish it. Overhaul the kitchen, toliets, lightings, curtains, windows&grills, painting, WIB in master room, carpentry work, awning, total cost me 35k, another 10k for furnishing and aircon.

  24. Good buy at evaluation but ain't cheap, at least 600k. Reno is only 5 years, better keep it or minor touch up will do to your taste.
