I am looking to change my career path to a different path, but I do not know what I should go for or what I should say to the interviewer. I tried looking for relevance but I believe I am missing out on something. Could someone give me advice on what I could explain to the interviewer if they ask why I want to switch career?

I've recently been told by multiple people that i am out of shape and I'm going to end uo being overweight if i don't quit my habits so ig i need to lose weight but idk where to start I can already see the fact that I'm starting to be overweight and i don't really want to be...i don't have the motivation to keep up good habits so i guess I'm destined to be overweight...

We hit on odds and *** from time to time, so I am just curious as to how many of us actually wager on sports (excluding some $5 bet with your neighbor type thing). It seems that, with the advent of online sports betting, there is more interest in sports, or it could be just the gambling fix itself...like people playing fantasy football who don't watch a game. Just curious, do you put a few bucks on sports? Me? College football & basketball is it. And I usually play a couple of bets per weekend all under a c-note.

I am just about to embark on a new exiting journey to set up a home studio from a double garage that is at a house I will be moving in to shortly and am scoping it all out and researching as much as I can. The one thing that I am having difficulty with , is finding a suitable Soundproof Glass Sliding Door. The one drawback of the build is that it will be a shared space and being doubled as a summer house, so can't have the typical double soundproof door setup. With all the interiors I can go to town with the soundproofing, doing the room in a room method but I will only have one single point of entry which will be some sliding patio doors. Hi there, I'm looking for a set of earbuds like these (Huawei SE 3 earbuds), that specifically use a dedicated 2.4ghz USB dongle and does not include any silicon ear-tips. Currently I use the above Huawei earbuds and I find them quite comfortable but they use Bluetooth. It's the Euro 2020 and discussion in another thread made me wonder whether most people systematically cheered their own country's team, or if they could have a different favourite team, either because they like the players better, or because they may not feel bound to imperatively support the country in which they were born and/or grew up (or where their ancestors came from for people living outside Europe)? As a child and teenager I watched mostly tennis tournaments and my favourite players had nothing to do with nationality and everything to do with style and personality. Yet, in my experience, when it comes to football almost everyone around me supports their own country, as if that was a civic duty. That makes me wonder whether they are watching the games out of a sense of tribalistic pride or for the actual sport and the quality of the team and individual players? Nowadays I don't have much time to follow any sport to be knowledgeable about the players. I leave that to the true fans. But I do not feel compelled either to support exclusively Belgium. Be it football or other team sports, or even country medals at the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games (already starting in 3 weeks), I tend to favour countries that I generally like culture-wise. That includes England/Britain, Italy and Japan. And although I am a French speaker and know French history and culture better than the average French person, I usually do not support France because of the typical attitude of French supporters. I was particularly happy to see France loose to Switzerland in the Euro 2020, as several French sports commentators on TV had mocked the Belgian team and told them to go home and eat chips/fries. At first glance, it looks as if could be a good fit, although it does not handle product variants in an apparel-friendly way (or in the same way as Shopify). There are 3rd party apps that provide additional related functionality (e.g. CS Fashion Central Premium, others). Many months ago there was a test where Server User Group attendees were asked to TP to another region all at once. It seemed to work. Whatever happened to that? Will the Enable Agent Communication fix deploy with WebRTC? How are the fixes to the HTTPS server to viewer event channel networking coming? The goal was to stop losing messages. The problem is understood (both server side and client side have retry timers, and they don't play well together), but time-consuming to fix.

I'm trying to increase my on-line presence by getting on to just as many business listing sites as possible. Problem I've run into is with my business address. I've always just used my PO Box number as my address, but I do have some places where I've needed to provide a physical address. In those cases I've used borrowed addresses like my tow-buddy Mike's office/shop or the repair shop where I garage my truck at night. Neither is really desirable and I don't want to use my home address, Mike no longer has a shop and I hate imposing on the guys who let me park for free at night, plus right now my listings have some variations on the addresses which show up as errors when I do one of those free listing scans. SO, looking into a commercial or virtual mailbox service where I'll have a real address to use; seems like the answer and it's pretty cheap. I'll be keeping my USPS box because that's on a LOT of stuff - invoices, business cards, licenses, bills. Question: Anyone using one of these services? Pros and cons? Any info greatly appreciated.

We are thinking of putting in solar panels. We are located in Illinois. Quad cities to the North, Macomb to the South, Galesburg to the east and the Mississippi River to the west. .Has anyone had dealings with a company you would recommend? Reliability, and service personnel if needed, are important to us. Are we too late for any of the incentives? Does anyone have anything they want to warn us about? We are looking at farm and personal use. We are not located close to main power lines so not looking at a "solar farm".

Its not the spring cartridges, its just some of the door handles over time have gotten more and more of a loose/dead spot. Took one off and had a look, even in my hand the handle wobbles a bit relative to the bit that screws to the door. I couldn't see a way of tightening the handle.

Found a property we liked and just put in for a land loan. I know people do this all time but I'm as nervous as a alley cat. Paid off our house 5-6 years and over the years have pretty much rebuilt it. New kitchen, two new bathrooms.. only a couple sections are left to finish. It's a small house and lot but we made it work. Fairly cheap and allowed her to be a stay at mom for 8 years. Problem now is the neighborhood and the county in general. Due to some concussions I can't handle the bass in music, just kills me. Unfortunately our houses are close and my neighbors don't get it. And yes I've tried twice talking to them, anymore we just turn them in past 10:30p. Won't even discuss the county. Looking at 10-20 acres raw land -no house- max a hour from the city. Financially we can afford it just not as free as before. Only real debt is the BMW and we put over 40% of our income in retirement. Almost feels like we're taking a step back, by the time we do everything maybe 350-400k. So much for retiring early. Looking forward to whole thing though but still nervous.. House that I won't have to fix anyone else's mistakes, shop.. and maybe too many tractors. Grew up on a farm so making a little income from it isn't out of the question. Enough rambling.. We're only 44 and 47 so not too old. Anyone start over at this stage?

One year ago last week I was let go from my amazing job by a petty a$$hat who knows nothing about IT but somehow found his way to being an IT Director. Three months later he was booted for gross and demonstrated incompetence - a bit of vindication but no real value for me. I had a short term contract this summer that gave me three months of work (with a full month in the middle where I did not work because my wife was in the hospital), but otherwise I have been unemployed for the past 12 months. This being the one year anniversary I think is weighing on me quite a bit. I have a lot of angst and frustration over not being able to find livable employ. In the 8 months of the past year that I have been searching I have applied for ~100 jobs, and every one of them was something I felt I was qualified for. I have received one job offer at a local MSP, but their offer was far below my expected pay. I told them that I would give them 100% and they would be happy with me, but that I would be continuing to actively look for a higher paying job, and understandably they resumed their search. I don’t blame them, they want and need someone to be a long term team member. Aside from the aforementioned short term contract I have received nothing but rejection. Last week I was super excited about one particular opportunity, I met 95% of the requirements plus had direct experience with their unique tech stack, and I did not even make it to a screening call. Ultimately I think that I am doing something wrong with my resume. I am either showing or not showing something and it is getting my application dismissed outright. Who here is a hiring person and can tell me what I’m doing wrong? What am I showing that is a turn off? What am I leaving out that is getting me dismissed?
