Why Do Irritating People Go To Cinemas?!?!

thiings have not changed then.... i remember watchinig The Full Monty, and admittedly, the dialogue had a very strong yorkie accent. but for the entire however long the movie was minutes, this guy was translating the entire movie to his ah lianish gf --- in HOKKIEN! And of course some of the jokes will get lost in translation, she will say, loudly funny meh? It was really really irritating!!!! If I wasn't on a first date with someone then I would have stood up and screamed at both of them!! -
oh shoot.. i didn't even think of checking the windows!!! well, we haven't officially gotten the keys yet (June 16) so still got time!!! I better let hb know... BTW, are you going to change the toilet paper holder in the MBR bathroom? They gave like the lousiest quality for the masters bathroom... even the maid's bath is nicer! diva - i've seen your blog.. great work! wish i had the patience to do that! all i have is a trusty notebook or maybe i'm just old, haha

Hi Goalhome, like what xaleysan said, you can go and buy wall putty, either in the small tubs, or if you want to do the whole wall, you can buy bigger tubs in any paint store. You must also get the spatula to apply it on the wall... then when it is dry (have to make sure very dry), sand the wall down to smoothen it. First time you may need a rougher sand paper, then to finish off, can use a fine one. Xaleysan, we also didn't use emulsion (Matex) paint for the ceilings because the effect isn't as nice, and emulsion paint tends to turn yellowish over time. Unlike the 3-1 paint, you can use those magic clean type mops to wipe once in a while. One thing we realized, the paint colour NEVER looks the same on the catalog compared to the wall! Should get my hb to come and give tips here, he's been painting his own house since he was in his teens!!

i am using this guy called Alvin, he doesn't have a store, so he'll come to your house with books ofr fabric. For my whole house - balcony, masters, study and guest room, he's charging me $2300. But the balcony and MBR I chose expensive material so it's more ex. The black out ones for the study came up to $380 and the guest room is $390, 2 panels each. If you want his contact I can PM it to you.

Solution For Tv Provision At Bay Window
patsy_sg replied to twinstar633's topic in Living, Dining & Storage
Putting the TV by the bay window would also make it very difficult to watch leh... there will be glare from the windows. Would it be an option to replace the point? -

hi just to share, hb and i painted our entire EA ourselves, 10 yrs ago, and repainted it every twice since. When I say everything i mean including plastering and sanding all the walls in the entire house! But plastering was the first time only because hb was very finicky about the smoothness of the walls. It was fun though and really gave a sense of achievement when the last brush stroke was done.... if you really want, start by room, the impt ones first.. and make sure you paint the whole wall in one go rather than in portions so it will come out even. I think we have some brushes and sponges and paint trays from our last painting job last Dec, if you wnat i can give them to you...
