Yup... will not be rushing the ID.... but was disappointed because my hubby was telling his friends that we can have housewarming in Nov before our wedding... Now abit too rushed le lor... haha

Thanks bluberi... I been feeling that I ruined the design of our house with the selection of my kitchen tiles.... haha... coz I am doing modern mar... but that kitchen tiles is more retro to modern.... haha..... Just finished painting my house.... I will be posting the pictures later.... haiz.... I dun know how to post so everytime have to wait for my hubby to post for me.... My ID says that tues will send people to help me do my toilets... then thur will start to do carpentary... then solid surface..... so need another three weeks.... My hubby quite upset.... coz my ID said that mid nov can takede but now got to wait till end Nov... but I dun want to rush him.... then my hubby says that his plan to do housewarming is ruined coz have to wait till end of Nov to take back house.....

I just painted my doors and frames too... but I decide to paint my bedroom doors and main door the same colour..... Think the colour code for my doors are 9016 if it helps....

I will be using my master bedroom balcony to convert into a small working area for my hubby. Once I have done, will post again... nothing fancy though, just some tables and thats it....

Masonary work.... for the end of last week till end of this week, my ID didnt send people down... Coz our concentration is on electric, then air con trunking and finally tomorrow start painting..... So I dun think my house is the one holding up the work.... haha....

Today my electrician went up to rewire the place.... quite pleased with their work.... very fast and good..... My hubby says wires dangling here and there, nice meh? haha... so he refused to take pictures....nevermind, next week is painting le... then take.... haha

I be changing back to white tempered glass... haha.... cos after the mothers know that we are doing mirrors for backing... been nagging till our ears nearly drop.... So changed back to tempered glass....... decide to go for white instead of black.... guess it will look brighter......

PorkyPig, Yes yes.... that is a tile... haha.... Not paste de..... But cost us $10 per piece.... they also had those border type.... for people to decorate their borders.... very cute lor... but my ID says just take one to make it outstanding.... dun take the borders.... haha.... Fitness, if I remember correctly, the tiles is 2.60 or 2.80 per piece.... not too expensive coz my quote is for tiles up to $3.00 per piece..... Angel81, my hubby loves flowers.... He is the one who chose all the flowers tiles.... Even willing to pay $10 per piece for the common toilet... the white and black special flower tiles.... I chose the kitchen tiles.... haha.....no flowers... haha....

At first I was thinking of getting my ID to do my hubby work area too... Then in the end, one of the ID I visited told me, to custom make, its not worth the price.... buy will be cheaper....

hmm... I also bought my WC and basins from Poh Joo and my cooker and hob is from there too.... I didnt get any attitude problems lei.... In fact, the sales girl was very frank and straight to the point...... My mother in law who was with us commented that the price was very cheap too....

I am also using an electrician to do rewiring for my house.... I cannot tell you guys if he is good till I see his works... If he good then I let you all know... hehe

I did went there for quote but didnt sign with them in the end, the feeling that the ID gave me wasnt comfortable.... Abit too young and like not very sincere....

Hi, My ID also packaged 10mm black tempered glass for the whole stretch of wall between the cabinets and hob... Then the other day, we were visiting his shop, he offered to change to mirrors for us as I was worried that black tempered glass would look dark and white tempered glass brings a greenish tone.... The mirrors are abit brownish more to tea colour and he says that so far, he hasnt got any complaints and customers likes the way it brightens the place and looks good and easy to maintain... He says that though it is more expensive than tempered glass, he is giving to us to replace our tempered glass without top up... my hubby loves the look and took it.... Anyway, we asked him if we do heavy cooking and it breaks, will t be very expensive to change, he says no lar... not difficult and not very expensive lar.....The point is, he says, you dun go knocking at it lar.... Btw, think no need to have tiles if have glass.....

I bought from AllBest..... Not sure if they are good coz yet to install.......but we bought 2 system 3 inverters at around 5k+ so I guess the price is reasonable for 6 inverter aircons?

Just writing to say that I am very thankful for my ID, Miker and May. Both are so nice... May, knowing that I cannot put the wall paper due to size constraints, offered to find me a wall that I can put... Moreover, she helped me to see the whole book of designs that they have and pick one out for me.... so touched..... Then Miker, though we expected so much from him, he actually took the effort to help me talk to my electrician which I hired from outside and even provided good advices...... Very happy... Now going to meet up for further discussion on my carpentary......

I also like but we decide not to do le... save the money for better use... haiz..... Anyway, had a productive weekend.... Our ID advised us not to hack off the toilet door frame in the masterbed room cos will affect our tiles and the ex owner did not have any spare for us to use....but after thinking, we still decide to knock off instead of just painting over it.... coz my parents home de already rusty and they having problems so better change new de..... So told my ID and he says will knock it off tml.... then we went around singapore to find tiles but can't find any coz ours is the old measurement... so we decide to match and make it special as one of the SBH lady taught us.... we bought a bag of pebblestones to make a non slip and nice feature to match the modern theme in the house.... Now pending my ID reply cos he says the work is different from just replacing tiles so we just asked his cost.... budget bursting..... Then we went to get the two WC with soft closing, one wall mount basin, one table top basin, kitchen sink, Cuzino cooker and hob..... $1200... not sure cheap anot... Then went shopping for coffee table and dining set.... end up walking into star furniture and they were having Hari Raya sale so end up getting a Red coffee table at 399 and a black dining set at 599.... again not sure worth it anot.....

Yup... told my hubby that we will just paint a different colour then we can also hang pictures or some paintings........ hehe Today then we started hacking... coz there was some permit problem... very fast work.... the workers finished hacking within a day.... haha... Tml will be my ceiling plastering.... excited.....

Ya lor... my hubby at first suggested to do feature wall if I want ... but I decide against it... haha... I must budget budget.... Really excited cos we should be starting the renovation on Monday......Everything hack ar... haha......

I agree that mock up 1 seems nicer... haha.... pretty much decide on it unless the price for the wallpaper goes up..... haha... our colour scheme is chosen by my husband.... he likes the modern and simple look.... same then easy to do wor... haha.....

Different lar, we only did some works in one room, 2 toilets and kitchen... we didnt touch the rest le... anyway, i am sure colin is good....
