Platform And False Ceiling Problem?

Hi,

I understand most hdb flats have floor-ceiling heights ~ 259cm.

If I do a 6" false ceiling and 4" platform, the new floor-ceiling height will be less than 240cm... isn't it against regulation?

Get your ID/Contractor to check with your HDB branch office. Ask for black and white.

As far as I know, HDB regulation:

Floor to ceiling - not less than 240cm (but I have seen people do less than this height, but only partially, not whole ceiling)

Floor to lower edge of window/railings - not less than 90cm
