hihihi 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2008 You have to shop around to get a feeling of the price. To give u one more headache some shops will advice u to get the downlights without ballast. That will means can only install 1 bulb instead of 2 (i.e if 2 bulbs will need ballast). Coz if ballast spoils, u need to tear the downlight out from the ceiling to change, which will spoil your lightbox. If no ballast, simple, just change bulb. Hi I also went to this shop to check on their downlight $$. But i'm checking on this square PLC 2x13w. They quoted me $22 but didn't know that we got to pay 7% GST. babytan 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 was being quoted $22 for T5 4ft not sure what the market rate though but eventually didnt get that as ID said we just need to get loose sets florenscent tube.. 4 ft (with ballast / wires / starter) - $9.00 each got kana "tok" or not huh? cos whole house lightings brought from the same place la and just call the shop to add in the tubes..
