Changing Balcony To Lounge Area

Need to ask can i put a leather loverseat in the balcony? Will the heat/ morning sun do harm to the leather in the long run?

my opinion..

avoid leather at direct sunlight..

is there other alternative? can dont use leather? probably woody kind of chair?

heat is ok, but not moisture.

Imagine your car leather seats. It's perfectly alright to sun, but water is defintely a nono. Leather is simply dead animal skin, if any mositure, will start to grow mould.

Leather will crack under prolonged sunlight exposure. Unless u apply leather protector religiously. Look at some of the leather seats in cars, they're under sunlight for a long time everyday and tend to crack if not well taken care of.

Guess it's not recommended or you put a movable shelter piece on top of your love seat when it is not in use?

hmm... the what material will be suitable for the balcony then? cos i'm sourcing for nice sofa seats....

u can look for materials like woven resin, wood or wrought iron. woven resin is the in-thing, it is suitable for indoor or outdoors. designed to withstand sunlight and all weathers. light enuff to drag around. comes with cushion too.

this love seat is quite a IN now..
