BTW, a friend of mine bought the Series 6 40" LCD & he opted for the HTS instead of the Bluray player. I can only say the HTS sux big time coz i helped him with the cabling.

The subwoofer is so light that i can pick it up using only 1 hand without breaking a sweat. The sound from the speakers are muffled & dont do justice to the superb LCD panel. And the DVD player's so-called upscaling function to 1080p is just a gimmick. Pix quality is still grainy. The cables are thin & I highly doubt its made from good quality.

Ive advised my friend to spend a bit more to get a proper set up BUT wife factor says the Samsung HTS looks chio leh. :bangwall: We buy HTS to appreciate the sound & compliment the TV NOT the look of the HTS!!!!!!!

Don't bang too early.. COMEX coming soon, this month end.. I'm waiting for that, and hopefully to clinch a better deal. :)
