Can I Have Chimney Hood On 'pillar'

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Currently my kitchen wall have a protruding portion of about 67mm x 530mm on the top. I'm thinking of using a chimney hood for my stove. Is it possible?? Can part of the chimney be cut out to fit the protruding portion?

Thanks!

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

I think there are round chimney in the mkt.

Most chimney hoods are squarish. If you mind it is squarish, you might as well get a round chimney?? I think it serves some purpose for the 2nd cover?? I don't think you want to leave it behind and somehow or rather problems arises after your reno??

For me, my chimney is trimmed because there is a pillar running across my kitchen wall.

Sorry man, can't help you much on this. Maybe you wanna ask the shop towkay for more info?? Or is there anyone who is working in this industry who can ans this query??

It's really helpful to know that it can be trimmed, so I think it can be trimmed for the funny protruding portion bah~ Will double check with the sales before I buy ^^
