me using brandt 2 zone induction hob, bought at S$988

the cooking time is v fast, but when used 2 zone at one time, the cooking power is shared. think if got 4 zones using at one time, cooking strength will be shared even more le.

me use tefal, normal s/s pots (from ikea). only corning cannot b used :P

one thing, it is really not hot to touch, v safe to me.

even when water over-boilled, me not worried cos there is no naked flame.

just wipe off the spill aft cooking. simple :P

hope it helps :)

Hi all.

I looking to buy

Please let me know your advice on this brand/model if any. Thank you.

Btw, i intend to flip the hob as per shown for usage. Any limitation?

bigorange, the hob is not fixed onto counter - so can flip if not happy. hehe. do make sure they put the rubber seal provided to prevent any spillage into your cabinets. also, no silicon to glue it down - that will crack the hob!

for info, induction hobs can only work with ferrous pots and pans (i.e. steel, iron etc). It has been a joy using my teka hob since I can maintain an optimal temperature with a press of a button - my fried eggs (only thing i can cook) turns out beautifully each and every time! Even cook maggi mee is faster than 3 mins lol
