Dulux Light And Space.. Anyone Tried?

Anybody tired Dulux Light and Space paint? Is it good?? Really brighter?

I using it. the purple, the peach and sky blue one. hard to compare if it is brighter, but it look bright enough for us. i tried to take a photo b4 but cannot see well.

I'm using these combinations:-

MBR - Light & Space LS 21745 (Violet Breath)

Study Room - Light & Space LS 23608 (Sunny Lime)

Bedroom 2 (Spare Room) - Light & Space LS 21744 (Purple Dream)

Walkway - Light & Space LS 21741 (Skylight)

Living Room - Dulux All-In-1 AL 21910 (Ocean Wave)

Kitchen Doorway + small wall to mirror wall - Pentalite PL1556 (Black)

Bomb Shelter - Light & Space LS 21741 (Skylight)

As all the furnitures and the flooring is black, the Light & Space series actually brighten up the whole place.

seriously it won't give u the "wow" factor. Visually I cannot differentiate whether it is brighter than normal paint.

I agree it won't give a "wow" factor totally. My advice is for you to try to visualise the overall color combi of your funitures as well as the overall. 1 month to take note is while the brochure colors are lighter than the actual paint colors for other ICI paint series, their Light & space series is the other way round.

well i'm using Light & Space for all my walls....my contractor didnt say anything about having to charge extra....hence, i presumed his pricing has already considered.....

did some painting a year back and I used the light & space series. Cost-wise is abt the same as their other paints.

the walls did look brighter, at least that is what I felt.

I have been quoted 1700$ for full house painting(5 room), but can choose only 6 colours from Pentalight range.

Light and Space will cost 2100$. Is that normal?

Supposedly Light and Space harder to apply. Cannot repaint just one patch. Have to paint whole wall.

I used it on my bedroom walls... the light pink... can't really notice much difference.. won't use it again cos it stains easily...

my whole place was painted L&S Frosted Dawn. it does brighten up by alot.

before this, my contractor used a normal white which was v dull.

but i do agree with Cyberkinetic that it stains easily.

not sure whether is the base coat lousy, but my L&S doesnt seem to stick well n tends to peel off easily too.

I am also having L&S in lot of my rooms now. Reached an agreement with my ID...get to choose fewer colours but can go for L&S. I want bright rooms!

But peeling off doesnt sound normal. Could be an issue with the way painting was done.

Have a 18 month old running around the house...bit worried about the staining part now !! cant you wipe off stains from L&S ?

bro, i think for my case, it could the the base coat problem.

as for the staining, its quite difficult to clean off.

so remember to keep the remaining paint so u can touch up as n when.
