The ex owner used window flim for the window which now already start popping out n created sticky skicky feeling at the edge. Would like to DIY to remove it. hawthorne 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2009 are those sticky sticky feel similar to those like when you remove those price tag stickers? You can pour some cooking oil on a rag and rub it on the window. The oil will dissolve the sticky gums. After that, you can use your Mr Muscle or other household cleaners to cleanup the oil. You may need quite an amount of cooking oil if your window is big. 2nd method is to use scotch tape to slowly 'tape' up the sticky stuffs.
