ninja3101 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 I went to a shop at Balestier to look for at ceiling fans. The Salesperson recommend this ceiling fan brand call 'Fanco'. The fan blades got 3 types like acylic , wooden, aluminium. To control the fan speed will be using pull string, remote control , wall switch. ninja3101 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2009 What is the brand & price of the ceiling fan you have bought ? How many blades , inch is the fan ? Can the wall switch control the lights or just the fan speed ? The person told me pull string to control the lights I just order a Fanc FF707 ,54 inch , 5 wooden blades with 1 round light and remote control @ $350. Ceiling fan with aluminium blades are getting lesser. I see more wooden and acrylic for Fanco fans. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ninja3101 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2009 I bought it at $350. Does $268 include the installation ? How much did you pay for your fan ? I bought a Fanco 48", acrylic blade, but silver colour, think the model is FF6000 for $268... They recommend that acrylic is lighter and also able to generate more wind... Mine did not come with light.. For my usage, a wall mount control is sufficient... As I also bought all my lights with them, they gave me a lump sum discount of the total bill..
