i also have the same principle as you..but you have also "cut" your living room into 2..won't the shoe cabinet space be too big, bearing in mind that we most probably don't spend much time at this area? Ever considered a full length mirror near your doorway (just to have a quick look at yourself before you go out, and also reflect the light/make the room seems bigger). In addition by having the tv this way, the light is also blocked?

Hacking starts next monday... Yipee..

like your kitchen design, simple and optimised! but was just wondering if you feel that you have enough working space in the kitchen? We have similar design but I have decided to have an L-shaped kitchen so that I can have more working space....after my renovation, i do find the space just enough...

I like the "divider" concept, make dining rather personal and away from :noises! do you want to consider not having the glass panel? Since your kitchen wall can't be hacked now, it will be rather stuffy if your dining area is further blocked...how about consider over the counter concept for the glass panel? you could also have more working kitchen table top with this concept..cheers

we thought of that before.. wanted to replace the hanging lights with the sunflower ceiling fan but we decided to change the colour back to black and white.

will be meeting ID today to finalise the details.

went to visit our hse over the wkn.. becaue our flooring was concrete base, we decided to listen to ID suggestion to hack away all the tile so that the flooring will be even

ID is really a nice and responsible chap.
