Samsung Fridges

Recommended Posts

Although Samsung is the leading brand for tv nowadays, most people still preferred Japanese brand fridges...

Those who use Samsung fridges, any comment on it?

Samsung is not that specialised in making fridges but their products are mostly made in Thailand..but their price may be cheaper as compared to other Japanese brand fridges. My fridge is a LG one and it was bought in 2001 and still working gd as I think they were still made in Korea at that time... It depends on your budget and also whether you are willing to try a different brand as the one u are currently using... :D

My Samsung fridge took about 3 years before it start giving me problem. My top freezer start to have problem with the temperature (not cold) and after that, leakage problem.

Seem that the lifeline of the fridge have reached the end. Thinking of repairing the fridge with the retail store (Everjoint), where i purchased my fridge, but my family members think it is better to buy a new one instead, if not the problems might happen again.

So recently I have just change my Samsung fridge to Mitsubishi instead. It seem that Mitsubishi have a better brand name in fridge category and it usually last longer, based on the info that i get from my colleagues and friends.

I currently using MRF62X, which cost me $945. New model in the market and the price is pretty good. I bought it again from Everjoint, as their price is always competitive.

Hopefully that this machine can last longer to the previous one. :D

Cheers

Maybe I am biased, but I prefer Jap electrical appliances, though we have previously owned a LG fridge and it lasted for 10 years without problem.

Hi

Got a free fridge and washing machine for buying a 37 inch Samsung TV 3 years back.

Washing machine broke down (cant purge waste water) after 1 yr but fine after DIY repair.

Fridge has a persistent leaking problem at the rubber insulator (bottom part) of the freezer door. Mould will grow if never clean for some time.

TV still working fine.
