Kitchen Renovation At Punggol

Recommended Posts

Velarine:

it's formica 2mm glossy laminate. Some ID charge more for this type.

2 years already passed, the laminate still like new and quite scratch resistant also.

No waverly reflection as well but it's fingerprint magnet. Need to wipe clean it frequently.

Only my solid top start to deteriorating with plenty of fine scratches. Need a good machine polish in near future. Quite regret that I didn't choose quartz top by topping up a bit more for peace of mind.

Only tip to maintain it by cleaning each time you finish cooking. Sometimes my solid top stained and I use a droplet of bleach to remove it.

Hi Vhardono,

Finally paid up for my orders on insani24. Actually I already lodged my orders online on 7aug, but made a mistake to choose paydirect when i actually meant to pay by paypal (ie pay by credit card). After putting in the orders, they sent email to inform me of split delivery cos' some items were out of stock (though I have carefully chosen items indicated as on stock). Anyhow, since they reassured me stocks will come in coming monday, so proceeded to pay. Just FYI, apparently they have to split to multiple shipment also because each shipment has to be below 1000euro to avoid paying custom clearance cost.

Crossing my fingers on the delivery.

Thks and Cheers,

Luxray

Luxray: hope everything went smoothly and you receive the item soon.

Your total invoice (including shipping cost) should be less than SGD400 to avoid Singapore GST, otherwise you have to pay 7% at Singapore custom once the item arrived

Hi Vhardono,

So insani has not included the 7% gst into the cost yet?

Thought iceprice and amazon include gst cost into the tabulation .

How did you pay up the gst when your item arrived? Who informed you?

Looking at my cost calculation, comprehending gst, shipping and the 4% paypal cost, buying from insani would still be about 20-30% cheaper compared to buying locally (with 25% discount off retail ala carte purchase price).

Thks for advise!

Cheers,

Luxray

Insani should deduct 19% German VAT from the price, then you'll be required to pay 7% GST to Singapore custom once the item arrived in Singapore of the value exceeds $400.

You'll receive a collection slip in your mailbox if you need to pay the GST. It's located at SingPost building Paya Lebar.

I'm getting the tantem boxes for my kitchen too. But for the inner drawers, I realised the price cost 30 - 50% more. So I wonder now do I want a "whole piece" drawer look, or 3 separate pieces.

did you get the orgaline?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

yes,you are right.inner drawer cost about 30% more but looks neater and i think it's more sturdy for long term.

FYI, Blum showroom always have promotional discounted orgaline item which is changing every month and I find it quite worth it (around 30%)

Last month i bought the cutlery tray, and yesterday i bought knife holder as their current month promo.

Very nice kitchen you have there!

Can you share with me the internal drawer depth of your Blum drawer?

I have bought the Blum runners and asked the carpenter to install. The internal depth came out to be less than 50cm so I'm wondering if this is correct.

TIA
