Pole Concept Wardrobes - Who Has Done It?

Hey guys, first thread here! I noticed that many of you have had pole concept wardrobes done (something like a WIW). Doesn't it get dusty even with the doors?

Maybe I'm a traditionalist but my current apartment has a pole concept complete with sliding doors yet I still can find spiders, dust, and ants lurking around in my wardrobe. It's quite frustrating and I'm not sure whether it's industry practice to affix the poles directly to the wall or ceiling.

Do you guys face the same problem as I do? Thanks!
