found my TV console at Cellini

DSC_5014.jpg

2m long and satisfied all my requirements.

The drawer is a removable separate unit that can be removed to increase the space for the AV equipements :)

if teakwood is the best but hard to find someone reliable to duplicate.

It's veneer.

got 2 pieces for low 1.2K (one for living and one for entertainment)

i thought the price is decent and cellini's quality is pretty ok.

Decided to shift the drawer from the entertainment room piece to the living room one as I want more equipment space than storage space.

so it is 600 per piece.

I saw this cool system by MisuraEmme at Marquis. The AV equipment is concealed in the slim cabinets below so you would think that you'd need to open the doors to control your AV devices. But it's got an IR "eye" on the board where you mount your tv, which you will connect to the IR receiver of your players, so that you can control your them even when the cabinet doors are closed. Really cool. It costs an arm and a leg though.

But if you're gonna custom make your TV feature wall (which many people do), I think a similar concept can be replicated fairly easily... Just need to find the right parts at Sim Lim.
