Tips In Decorating Children's Room

Recommended Posts

Both my kids (a boy & a girl) is sharing one room. In order to maximise space so I've bought them a bunk bed. May I know how to decorate the room as my girl likes Disney Princess and my son likes Ben 10 alien force. What colour for their room? I was thinking of buying decals or wall stickers in order to make them have a sense of belonging so may I know which decals or wall stickers would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your help :)

Sometimes it’s quite hard for parents to decide what kind of colors and designs for the kid’s room. In your case both of your kids “girl and boy” is having one room with a bunk bed but don’t worry it is a normal scenario. Kids do love that excitement of climbing a ladder. If your girl wants Disney princess and the other one wants alien force buy them bed covers of their favorite characters. Use your imagination and creativity in designing your child’s room. There are a lot of ideas you can find in online interior design that can help you. If you have no time to do that you can have a designer solve that problem for you.

I intend to do a bunk bed for my boy but he'll be having the room to himself.

Will do a walk up stair for him which is also storage area and below his bunk will be sofa/cushion for him to read and relax.

Hi smhgng76,

You can try www.kntj.sg

Was introduced by my brother as his house wall murals are done by them.

Accordingly to him, they are the one doing wall murals and art decor for most of the higher end showflats.

For my case, its simpler haha. I have 2 boys, though they like different cartoons. (beyblade and animal kaiser :0)

Thus i was at a loss of what to do.

The guys at kntj actually drop by my place to measure, ask about my idea, and even chat up a bit with my boys (seems like 1 of them had a kid also like beyblades :0)

After a couple of days they showed my their proposals and had everything up within a week of meeting.

In the end the result is great, and my boys are really happy to go to bed every night haha!

Funny thing is, I did not even pass them any books or magazine to scan and they are still able to create an artwork out of just understanding what i want.

Very professional and friendly guys.

Hi,

I live in USA. Well a bunk bed is an awesome way to save space. Talking about decoration.. You can have one wall of your room dedicated to your girl's choice of cartoons, and one wall to your boy';s choice. So both will be happy. Also try to have a hanging hammock chair in the middle of the room. It looks good.

Try to divide the space, on one space, put ben10 or green color (light or not so dark) and then on the other side put disney princess or pink color.
