Will really appreciate all. 1) Kitchen + Service Yard + Both Toilet: Over-Lay new tiles to flooring & install wall tiles on service yard wall. I did not removed original HDB floor tiles in Kitchen/Service Yard/Toilets but my contractor say need to water-proof. Is that true? Any risk of tiles popping out? 2) Kitchen: Due to new kitchen entrance, I decide not go for L-Shaped Kitchen Top. Original, wanted a concrete sink support for chopping purpose, but change to normal postform. I had two separate kitchen top, use Granite for sink top & Quartz for stove top. 3) Flooring: Bedroom = Parquet Living/Dining = Still not decide what to use. Original, wanted to use Granite but contractor mention that China Granite is of poor quality nowadays. And India Granite (such as Black Galaxy) cost more than marble. Also, mention that the cost to install Granite is higher than Marble, are these true? Does re-polish of Marble in Living/Dining area cost less than $600? 4) Anyone does Black Color Granite & Parquet before? Are these easy to maintain? Thanks.
