Hdb Permit And Engage Of Professional Engineer

Hi,

Can anyone advise the following:

1. is it a must for ID or contractor to be in the list of HDB Registered Renovation Contractors in order for them to apply for permit for hacking/removal wall is required???

2. what happen if the engaged ID or contractor in not in the list of HDB Registered Renovation Contractors and contract signed???

3. Understand that there maybe a need to engage a professional engineer to supervise the works for for hacking/removal wall. Does this mean the professional engineer has to be in the flat throughout the hacking/removing process???
