Conservancy Fee For Hdb

Recommended Posts

Hi People,

Can share how much you are paying for your monthly conservancy fee to your TC? I want to see why DBSS has to pay more than the comparable unit since on the external its just a HDB.

Cityview@Boon Keng (DBSS,5 room) $78

Boon Keng (HDB, 5 room) $59

Bedok (HDB, 3 room) $37.50

Heehee because Pay and Pay considers DBSS residents to be richer than normal HDB residents :P

Town council & IRAS have "mean-testing" like Hospitals. They charge according to our property price. DBSS is more exp than HDB.

From west coast town council website:

5room - $61

4room - $48.50

3room - 36.50 (what i am paying)

From Holland Bukit panjang TC:

5room - $60.50

4room - $48

3room - 36.50

From Tanjong Pagar town council:

S1 - 81

S2 - 100

5room - $62

4room - $49

3room - 36.50

I think S1/S2 refers to Duxton flats. Yes, horribly expensive. :(

I think i would curse as well if i have to pay that amount every month.

I think we should be paying for the work carried out, not the type of HDB flat we live in. Granted it is DBSS, what's so special that make SC/CC more expensive? Its not like there is swimming pool or a dedicated cleaning crew like condo.

The TC really needs to wake up. One size does not fit all. One rule does not cover your a**.

Mine at ECTC, 5 room ($66), carpark $63.70.

http://www.ectc.org.sg/scc.html

Previously(end 2009)paid $370/per mnth for "maintenain fee" for a 1297sq ft condo unit of total 232 units with "full facilities".

You are lucky to grab a season parking for open carpark. No need to drive car up and down, no need to take stairs/lift up and down, and cheaper fee than multistorey carpark. thumbsup.gif

Hard to find open carparks nowadays. HDB is demolishing open carparks.

Yeah lor. S1 & S2 residents who drive, will end up paying almost the same fee as some suburban condos residents. The condo residents still get additional facilities.

Jurong TC's SC & C is more expensive than those nearby (e.g. Holland-Bukit Timah) but the estate is definitely not as clean as them~

From Jurong TC:

5room - $64.70

4room - $51.60

3room - $39.50

really dunno how they justify the price~

Mine is a 2+1(1055sqft/bigger than most 4rm HDB flats nowadays) private condo in Hougang with full condo facilities including free shutter bus service from 6.30am-7.30pm daily every 10mins during peak hrs and 30mins during offpeak hrs. And I'm paying only $153 conservancy fees per month. I think HDB is over charging their resident!
