hilmi79 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2011 Firstly, many thanks to everyone who blogged their progress cos without which, we'd be totally clueless in what we want and eventually be taken for a ride. After spending countless hours reading and reading the t-Blogs hoping to learn a thing or two and drawing inspiration from most, the time has come to do our groundwork to search for ID's or contractors (keeping our options open for now) cos we're finally collecting our keys next Monday, 20th June 2011. Nothing spurs you more than seeing that on the HDB website... With that in mind, we've met with 5 different companies, and talked to countless more, just to have a better understanding of the market and what it's about. So far, have heard back from only 1 (and I must say that of the lot, he's one of them that we've shortlisted thus far). I'm just thankful that my line of work helped in preparing me for this... Well, first thing after collecting my keys on Monday, I'll definitely be snapping away and posting here hoping to gather the input of all who cares to share. We hope to be able to decide on which ID / Contractor to use before we get our keys in 2 wks time. Which type of Hdb flat are u staying? What is your budget? What is your budget?hey potatoes, it's a humble 4-room in Punggol Drive which we got in the SOBF in Sep 2010. Small and cosy, but amenities and all very conveniently located so we can't complain.
