How Soon To Start Looking For Id?

I intend to start my reno in early december with my resale 4-rm flat. How soon should i start looking for contractor/ID base on you guys experience?

I hope to start in Dec and able to finish by CNY, not sure if it's able to as i heard this period a lot of workers on leave etc.

Anyway, the main thing is how soon to start looking and confirming the deal etc.
