How To Check For Aircon Leaks?

I intend to use the existing aircon of the terrace I bought. According to the owner, aircon was last changed 4 years ago and they do looked new. However as the pipings are concealed, I am concerned about leakage. Is there any way I can check for leakage. Or can I engage gain city or somebody to check for me?
