Sorry for being missing in action!

Was away in paris for photoshoot and then a short getaway in melbourne. haha.

Still jet lagged.

Cozydreams - we have no idea yet cos we have not moved in.

Makanology - We considered the bigger one , but the previous owner had already built a space for the fridge and we do not want to change anything in the kitchen to save money :)

juxstapose - hahaha , the color is very nice ! And we both love the retro look. Hopefully it is functional too.

sleepybeauty - oooo , that is a dangerous color! haha but yes so lovely. and irresistable. We came back from paris and melbourne with alot more stuff!! Need to find time to take photos and put it up.

zihui - Awww , my wife gave me a big big bookshelf and so she should have her own space too!!

Pink smeg! You ordered the 2nd larger size? Out of curiosity, how many of you in the house? Would this size be sufficient?

We bought the larger size from Unilite and there are 2 of us at home. Fridge now seems too big as we keep stashing stuff and forgot to monitor the use-by date!

And welcome to the smeg / Unilite club :)

Can i know the dimension of the fridge you bought?

Finally got it uploaded.

So here are the pictures. These are before we do any renovation to it.

This shows the living room with the raised platform. Which my wife dislikes. And the ceiling fan. Which she likes. Also seen is a huge sliding glass door , i suppose to keep the aircon in the living area.

there is a RC below your blk right?

And yes there is a RC below my block :)

Are you staying around there?

More work has been done!

New masterbedroom toilet tiles are up!

Balcony tiles are up too!

Hole in the wall is plastered nicely now! Love how much light and ventilation it gives to the previously dark n stuffy staircase. in fact now when i switch on the fan in the living room , i can feel the wind upstairs in the room. :thumbs up:

We like the Victorian kind of design , so we set about finding our furniture . But the shops that sell this kind of design are so expensive. We were rather disheartened and even thought of going to malaysia to search. Until we found this online furniture shop. And we loved it. Although it was a bit difficult contacting them but we managed to view some pieces in their tiny half shop showroom here and we thought the quality was not bad considering the price so we went for it.

The Sofa we chose :

The chaise that we bought on the spot. We initially wanted a normal lounge chaise but this single seater chaise seems so unique.

A coffee table to match the sofa

And finally this armchair. The moment my wife saw it , it was a done deal. Her fascination w pink.

Unfortunately the delivery has been delayed until end of nov....we are probably going to be more gypsy (sitting on the floor to watch tv) rather then royalties......
