Mix Tiles And Laminate Floor Possible?

Hi All

Can I get advice if it is possible to have a mixture of tiles and laminated floor in my masterbedroom. I have some damage on the laminate floor near to the toilet so I am thinking of instead of replacing the laminate, is it possible to replace with tiles only at the area near to the toilet and the rest of bedroom remain laminate floor?
