Wood Vs Pvc Venetian Blinds. Which Is Better

Hi,

i am looking at installing Venetian Blinds for my 5-rm bto, all for indoor use.

Based on quotations i got, the price between pvc and wood blinds is almost the same.

can someone enlighten me the pros and cons of wood or pvc blinds as well as comparsion netween both?

How much are you being quoted for the wood? $9?

PVC blinds is how...? My only considerations were between wood and the aluminium ones. Wood looks nicer but can be eaten away by insects faster, even if indoor? I used to have aluminium at my other place, it looks sleeker. Too bad IKEA doesn't sell it anymore. A medium one was only $19.

My place here has wooden (bamboo?) ones, IKEA also and has lasted more than 10yrs. Just a bit dusty cos ma fan to clean. It looks more zen though, in line with my concept at that time (10yrs ago).
