French Furniture- **company spam**

Went to Paris H**e..home... today for the 3rd time and met with the lady boss. On both initial occasions, we had met with sales staff who were very keen to help and gave massive discounts. We had gone today to finalise on items seen last week.

First of all the lady boss seemed very unwilling to help. Whilst confirming on items to purchase, she decided to play on her computer until we told her to finalise the orders. She was quick to cut us off as we asked questions. In general, arrogant and unhelpful.

After we confirmed our purchase, she insisted on a full payment. In the same sentence said that the goods would not be late - though she could not give a guarantee- she first said it is likely that they would be ready by the end of March then quickly said but maybe mid April! Then she insisted that everyone pays in full and was keen on nets payment saying credit card payments made it difficult for her. She insisted that full payments were her company policy and that it was detailed under the terms and conditions on their website.

We immediately went to their website and first struggled to find the terms and agreements (which she too had to find by playing on the website). She then insisted that we go home and read them. In fact, I found terms on deposit payments and penalties for late payments. We asked her if we could give her 50 percent deposit as it was unsettling. She soon became aggressive- suddenly starting to find pieces of paper to scribble something on. She told us she was unwilling to accept anything other than full payment as per her company terms. When the terms on the website were highlighted to her, she said "fine I'll change them then." As we were keen on the furniture we enquired more on how the payment will be secured & offered to pay, she retorted by saying she wasn't willing to do business with us today and then manically said she was not going to do business because we questioned her business.

We ended up leaving because of her hostility. I felt that she was shady. She wanted 5k upfront without any questions and gurantee for delivery date! Thankfully we didn't get bullied into making the initial payment through her aggressive stance as there seems to negative reviews about their furniture. I would not recommend this shop.

Also look carefully for reviews. On this site ** have to be used when stating shop name as it gets blocked out.
