I ran into a similar problem a couple of years ago, but it was related to the Digital Asset Management. I could not find a company that would sell me software to optimize data retrieval. After a long time, I found one popular company and they sold me the Software for Digital Asset Management for a very competitive price. I mean, when there are tons of different projects, all long-term, with huge budgets that keep changing and all that stuff. Maybe in cases like that it’s better to go for custom development?
