Anyone knows where to get them?

Got any idea what type of wood is the ideal?

Heard that there is kempas, balau, chengai wood and etc.

Any idea what is the pricing?

Can try All Well Trading at Sungei Kadut Street 1.

Spoke to a Mr Low mid-last year over the phone, answered my questions abt their Australian Jarrah wood EzyDeck tiles. Pricing is slightly more, compared to the ones at Home-Fix or other plant nurseries in Bedok and Thomson Rd, I guess due to the easy-click on system.

But I have to abort the idea of getting it for the main balcony, bcos with my kid around sure heart-ache. Haizzz...maybe when got more funds, plus my kid older enough, then can consider.

One good thing abt this DIY timber deck tiles, it's easy to take off and rotate places.

U can also check out their SolarPave tile, very swee! No need wiring/electricity. :curse:

Price can range from $8 to $40 per piece.

Go for balau if putting in balcony.

Chengai is good but expensive and more suitable for fully exposed conditions.

Do take note on dusts collecting under them.

Dear 70Wood,

Are the tiles come lacquered or I have to lacquer them?

regards,

Tim Kendall

Dear Tim Kendall,

70wood DIY deck tiles comes in matt dark wood colour and needs no lacquering. It is an ideal colour for outdoor, and you do not need to re-colour or oil it again. I hope that answers your question, but if it does'nt, please email me via infos given at http://70wood.blogspot.com.

Best wishes

70wood
