currently i am into my final phase of reno with box.id studio...

i do agree with some that u really need to have extreme patience if u want to engage them as they are definitely and seriously shortage in manpower...

i signed up with them in june and the reno work is still on-going but into the final phase now...

still lack of touching up and painting...

along the way, some hiccups but overall their tiling & carpentry work not bad (for now)...

if anyone wants more info, u can pm me...

We went down to meet Jeremy on sat and must say that we are impressed with his 'professional' attitude. We only show him the floor plan and some of our requirements and also some feedbacks we read from our Punggol forum as we have yet to collect our keys. Jeremy said he will think about it and give us his 1st proposal about 1 week later and he say since he also staying in punggol... he will drop by my flat area there and check out the units if possible to enter... Will see what ideas he have... Anyway, anyone has any updates about their workmanship and photos to show?

Just met jeremy again over the weekend at our place for 'on-site' explanation... was totally surprised at the ideas he has for our house (all the other IDs seem to give me 90% similar design) and we are now waiting for his updated design... :jammin:

So any feedback from those who have used Box id? How is their workmanship, materials used and service? Any problems during the renovation?

Appreciate the feed back :)

Hi,

We had employed Box id to do our 4 room resale unit. We are extremely pleased with their workmanship & their efficiency!

Below are some pics of my flat before reno.

Hi, I am a newie here.

As I am browsing for IDs for my new house, it reminded me about my experience with Box.ID. J was also the designer that managed our renovation. Well, I am curious to see how the co fare over the years... especially it was a "Sweet-bitter" one.

Like many of the above treads mentioned, we were impressed by J's ideas and presentation. He was not pushy and patient in going through his proposal which is indeed very different from the other Ids. Although the quotation was higher than our budget, we were willing to give it a try as we like the proposal very much. That was the sweet part...

Like many here, we also felt that J was very busy and his response was slow at times. Nevertheless, he would still get back to us, which was still acceptable then.

While we try to be understanding and reasonable in our expectation, we were somehow let down by the quality of workmanship and materials used. That sum up my "bitter" experience.

Looking at the treads above, many had shared their experience during the "sale" stage. Not sure why no follow up on the "product" or no one engaged the service eventually?

Seems to be the trend of a lot of post. I have been camping I the forum for a while without posting. I am also looking for a iD/contractor. It's all so overwhelming, especially with all the horror stories. Edited by sealfire

Oh dear, just appointed this company. How did you solve the poor workmanship and materials problem?
