As far as their warm, welcoming showroom goes, Intradesign has lived up to its promise of delivering a design with a touch of sensitivity and a heart of dedication.
In typical modern zen style, Intradesign’s showroom features a Spartan living room which substitutes the traditional “couch in front of television” design with a black rug complemented with white cushions. This theme of black and white, accentuated with accents of brown fluidly guides the conceptual development of the showroom. Complemented with well defined lines and definitive colour transitions, a sense of order permeates the living room. Utilitarian cupboards are fuss free with ample space for the placement of art pieces under the well lit halogen lamps.
An understated approach is taken towards the lighting concept, with diffuse light from the low hanging lamp complemented by the soft glow of celing lights. At the far end of the room, a strategically placed lounge sofa offers some respite after a day’s work and yet allows an unobstructed view of the television console.
The design concept for the kitchen area differs from that of the living area with the shift of focus to practicality. Easily cleaned countertops and sleek metal panels feature strongly, with backlit panels providing a soft glow to the otherwise stark kitchen display. Frosted glass panels line the upper cupboards, unobtrusively giving a hint of the kitchenware hidden behind.
At the adjacent showroom, Intradesign showcases its latest in contemporary modern design with chic minimalist overtones dressed up in the classic black, white and grey tones. Patterned motifs line the walls, adding dimension to the sleek, reflective black finish found along the cupboards of the kitchen area. The central serving area doubles up as a breakfast table is a centerpiece in itself, with a highly aesthetically pleasant geometrically inspired design. A small dining area sits unobtrusively a short distance away from the kitchen with post-modern lights hovering placidly over the table which fuses gracefully into celing.

Homely yet modern and sophisticated, the living room boasts of a compact yet comfortable couch, in front of which a soft rug is placed. Side tables lining the wall allow for a rotation of art pieces to add variety to the design while the layered television console, with the concentric white, glossy black, matt grey and designs draws one’s eyes to the simplicity and fuss free viewing area. Glare from lights is reduced with the judicious use of soft lighting, deftly hidden behind the console.
~~ INTRADESIGN ~~
The bathroom design is reminiscent of Greek bathhouses of old with a recessed bath placed amidst a grey-beige wall with recessed feature displays. A touch of greenery finishes the spa atmosphere perfectly. An inclined basin with two faucets lies below a horizontal strip mirror to allow the maximization of use of the restroom. A small shelf area allows for the convenient placement of towels.
The essence of the designs from Intradesign focuses on the functional melding of modern demands and contemporary aesthetics, providing that extra touch that separates their design from others.
