Welcome to renotalk.

I echo after neubie, a contractor would probably charge less than an Interior Designer.

Nowadays, the term ID is so loosely used, any contractor providing some 3-D with a shopfont

could termed as ID.

I'm sure you can find loads of useful stuffs here in renotalks.

All he best as you embark in your renovation journey.

ps; for picture attachment. read the sticky here

Hi wickaninsh,

Edmund is a contractor. He does provide 3Ds, but he does not do things like shop for tiles with you, give you detailed advice on the types of colour scheme etc. He will give practical advice, but that's as far as it goes. Hope that helps.

This would be ideal. Save cost and get good design. Cheers!

Thinking of gething this laminated flooring from Pergostore

Maritime OaK (but this is not on offer, but they willing to gives 15% discount)

maritimeoak.th.jpg

Two questions

1. will it be werid if i only use this in living room and a cheaper one for bedrooms & store room

2. can the stair on the main entrance be laminated?

I'm staying in AMK, 4 room. Ur toilet can put in the shower screen? Mine only a small one cos got no space. Can the toilet door be swing open with the shower screen there? U might want to take note of that.

U mentioned of changing the door. Is it main door? If it is, then must be fire rated if near to staircase (less than 3m away).

Get a contractor, save $. Especially if u know the colour scheme which u want.

U can actually insert this, easier to view. :)

i think it would be extremely squeesy for doing business....moving in and out of that area would not be easy.

maybe u might consider shifting out the basin for MBR, afterall too small a basin with no storage is not good.

For extending of kitchen, my floorplan is exactly like yours. we extended 1metre inwards.

I feel that anything more than that, we might have trouble storing fridge/washer/dryer.

The kitchen is lovely, if i have a chance to do kitchen, all lower cabinets would be drawers, so much easier on the back. More drawers more expensive, but i think it would be money well spent. :)
