thou i didn't change the windows, but they put up the window grilles very early... most of my friends who heard of this say how come its done in the early stage of reno... dono hw they plan the job.... when i see ur window, it reminds me of the problem with the opaqueness at my hse... coz its new flat, so the layout is such that the ppl upstairs can see the shadow of the person using the toilet downstairs... very bad design... still haven get down to solving this problem...

of coz la... i so regret alot of things we did for reno... high maintenance... so everything's too late by the time u move in... hahahah... *not trying to scare u hor... erm... really got wind blowing la... of coz its not to the extent of hearing the 'howling' sound thru the gap la (thou there's really sound at that 'fateful' night where its reported in the news abt strong wind experience)... yup, our area usually windy in the day... seldom experience in the night... especially during this HOT period...

actually i'd prefer less gap between the door and floor... den less dust gets in! haiz... too bad, the gap for our hse is big till i can even feel the wind blowing from the corridor....

so u not gg to add another backsplash at the side of the kitchen wall ah? also ok la... maybe can hang cloth for wiping your hand @ that corner or maybe something else so that can keep that wall 'occupied'? juz a suggestion.... haiz... i requested for that kind of door stopper as well.. as usual, promises not fulfiled... so end up seeing the 'doggy' nw lor... yes, i used pen knife and yes, i pretended that i've gotten rid of the whole piece of plastic... hahaha...

err, of coz i not hardworking to wipe dry the rack la... but it didn't rust lor... as to the backing, dono hw to describe... it doesn't end right at the edge of the wall but rather the end tip of the round corner... if u purposely run ur finger, u'll feel the edge of the SS but not to the extend of cutting finger... wonder if u understand wat i mean... hehe...

n the vandalism @ the garden exercise corner... i juz told off a bunch of 'pests' yesterday for trying to spoil the instruction board and spitting... terrible...

i've had stainless steel covering the side... ur case, its more of consistency? one more side dark, wont make the place any darker i tink... as for the shower rack, we bought SS from royal fanco... till nw doesn rust... oredi used it for over 6 months liao...

ya i tot so too... the floor outside my parents' place is cement flooring... ours too 'fanciful'... so everything becomes obvious... wow, so fast got ppl sell liao... haiz, i won't get this kind of 'profit' if i sell...

unfortunately for me, i haven't seen any cleaners in action... perhaps its always wrong timing? of coz i've done my part of not littering (or do u mean scrubing myself? if so, whats the SC&CC we've paid for besides clearing the rubbish chutes?), but i juz wonder (based on my 'sightings' @ my mum's place when the cleaners were cleaning common corridor) hw do they clean? if its strong water jet spray, shouldn't the marks be gone? i've moved in for more than 6mths, the marks are still there... still wondering...

yeah, used sanitary napkin found on the floor... n one of the intelligent lift is down again @ blk 89... n i wonder hw on earth is the common area floor cleaned...

less the technical part abt structural restriction, i feel that it is feasible to adjust the drawer tracks (like what lawry propose)... feel that your case (to argue for compensation if all else fails) is stronger if you've got black and white... that's what happened to my case when we wanted something and it turns out to be something else... more leverage on ur side to demand for things... of coz u muz also be reasonable la... all the best!

ah but the purpose of filling up the gap is so that u hv the flat surface to clean (same level as the frame) instead of a hollow space... ya, we saw some activities gg on last weekend... tot u were ard...
