A big thanks to Neubie sharing on hinges, "Casa Soft Closing" brand recommended by ID Alan as i wanted to buy brand "Blum" for anti-slam hinges. I trust this would be a good brand as by chance upon conversation i found out that my friend house was also renovated by ID Alan and had been using this hinge for the last 6 years and still working without any problem. I would only be installing 2 aircon units in the 2 bedroom. (MBR & Common Bedroom) I want Daikin brand. I turn on the aircon every nite for about 6 to 8hrs. Also need snrs help. 1) Should i be buying inverter? 2) I was told also that inverter have 2 or 3 or 4 energy saving ticks also. 3) I was told R22 aircon gas is cheaper alot more. 4) So for both room my btu i am looking at would be 9000? @ leechaorui thank you so much for reading, as my 1st home there is already so much to read about renovation. @ neubie yes that is Mr Alan, i was also shocked when he fetch us to view other owners houses that he had renovated.. Those houses already had owners living inside and everyone treated Mr Alan like a friend. @ newnyew thank you so much for your blessing ..

After meeting Alan Tan for 2 rounds and together with him we study the floor plan the feeling i got was he really understand a customer well. He know when to pull the plug as some of our wanted design would not be practical on day to day house keeping or cleaning. He could have just kept silent and just reno our crazy idea which cost more to renovate thus he earn more but instead he told us to tone it down. He even ask if we have a maid or how many people staying? Where we plan to iron our cloth and our life style like do we cook alot or how many TV we need? Once we have everything firm up.. We decided Alan would be our trusted guy for the job. Here comes the hacking of the whole house - as our theme would be simple, plan, white & black.

After so many round of selection and quotes from contractors and ID firm. We decided to short list SG Concept - Team I.D. Note - Wills ID & Design - Alan Tan, Aian Furniture & renovation Contractor SG Concept Was very comfortable with his ideas but decided to drop them as they were on very tight time line. Team I.D. Note Very experience ID who had alot of ideas for us after we had a hard time locating their office. Sat down with them and discussed alot of pricing, material, timing etc. But after 3 weeks with no reply on the quote we decided to select another ID. Wills ID & Design They were late for our appointment, after 2 rounds of meeting up and alot of ideas talk their quote came back extremely high and they seem in-experience as most of the time, their reply would be i need to check with my boss. So we did not get any confirm idea of what would be our material and costing as everything had to wait for his boss. Plus they keep pushy us a package deal which we DONT like it ... Alan Tan, Aian Furniture & renovation Contractor We love his attitude and attention to details when we met the 1st time. He was the ONLY id that suggested to meet at our new home to give us a better idea which we rang him up last mins. We felt so bad when we found out he drop his dinner with his family just to meet us at a short notice. He is extremely down to earth and patient who gave us very good practical ideas. He is not pushy with his sales or type of material we would like to use. But explain to us each materials pro and cons and he knew the pricing on the spot. Even he did not have 3D drawing, we decided to use him due to our comfort level with him and his A1 attitude toward us 1st time home owners.

Due to the high and ever increasing COV now requested by sellers these days. We decided to just purchase a 3NG at TPY. The only great part was it is a corner but sadly low low floor and the house interior is already 30 years old thus require major renovation. Sorry i tried to use the search function but not much info found. Need Snr Advise On Air Con (hp & Btu/hr & Air-Con Refrigerant). What is the difference on hp = horse power 1.5HP 2HP 2.5HP 3HP 3.5HP 4 HP in comparing with BTU? As some salesman sold the idea to me this brand or model aircon is good due to high HP but another salesman told me their brand is also good as high BTU.. Plus at COURTS the sale man told me Air-Con Refrigerant R410A is not good and Air-Con Refrigerant R22 is better? I am so confuse ... Not to mention they also add in those energy saving tick like 2 tick or 3 tick or 4 tick.. Thanks in advance... Wen

Dont mind me asking how much did you paid for the Geberit Artline 4.5L & Duravit Starck 3 wall-hung for both toilet? If i am not wrong the Geberit flushing system is build in right? What happen if the pump or stuff is spoil inside? Also would HDB approve the Duravit wall hung system? Thank you. Wen
