instead of paying $20 to $35 for a handyman to change the lock, i bought a cam lock from the shop opposite Sim Lim Tower. It costs me $2. Homefix sells their for $3.50 and also one for $36! Just a adjustable spanner to unlock the nut holding the lockset and fit in the new lock. But the moving plate is too long so I just bent it to the correct length. Took me less than 15 mins.

All these folks are the same . One uncle at Hoe Kee at Genting Lane wan to look at my invoice before looking at the problem that I have with the chopping board holder that come with the sink. Almost had to be a shouting match til one PRC staff step in to help me first.

there are 2 shops in Brash Brasah Complex that specialized in Chinese calligraphy or painting materials. Both are just next to each other at level 2. One of the shop name is Si Bao Zhai but I cant remember the other one. But it is ok, if you find Si Bao Zhai then the other one is next to it.
