been passing by this stall many times & never really got down to buying anything until today. their stuff are cute & priced reasonably. stall owner is really friendly too. ended up buying 3 items! top pic - "a crate" to contain all my mails bottom left - a cup to put my stationery bottom right - cute canisters for my barang in kitchen PS: forgot to add - selected my doors & their colors. And I'm meeting the plumber & CARPENTER tomorrow!

Either mk or schneider

Was chatting with a friend yesterday. He's an ID n he recommends clipsal, which has now been bought over by Schneider electric. So the latter is fine. He mentioned mk is not as good.(problems with the mechanics) which I didn't ask for details since I've already chosen Schneider.

Ya but there's another problem. If the point is shifted further to the right, it might be too close to my pendant light. So if d fan is on, the circulation may cause the light to sway. Need to discuss with the con how best to do this.

TB stuff are china? if i'm not wrong, cement tiles are mainly from Indonesia & european countries. so maybe you can't find them in TB.

L-Box up BUT i realised something is wrong. the electrical point for my ceiling fan is too close to the L-Box & the blades may end up hitting it if installed at that location.

Yup $3.50 is without sealer. For An Huat & Unlimited, the price is the same, regardless of design. Size is the same for these patterned tiles, which is 200mm x 200mm. Not advisable to buy such tiles from shops at Balestier. They mark up by alot & they charge differently for different designs.

just completed a really late online purchase for my bathroom accessories. not sure when they can reach me bought a toilet paper holder & 2 towel bars from an international site as i couldn't find anything that i like locally. Toilet Paper Holder a 9-inch towel bar. a rare find. instead of the usual towel ring, i managed to find a short towel bar. lovely. an 18-inch towel bar. this will go to the shower area. Hopefully they reach me in 2 weeks' time.

Alan said that particular piece can be relaid. Phew! He asked that I start arranging for my lights n bathroom stuff to be delivered next week. Air con can install anytime too! Next week: select door designs, gate, paint colors, carpentry design n laminate! Shooooo excited!
