I dun koe wats happening, but alot of the pics not loading properly, ended with 'x' here. Give up, sigh... The Ghost chair is very comfortable to sit into, no wonder it is a very popular chair for Kartell. The SA showed me by forcefully bent the 'leg' of the chair and the material is very durable. Original price is $550 (before GST) and I got it for 30% less during the Xmas promo. If anybody is keen, wait for the sales again, cos I tik they have sales a few times a yr.

Mickey, To me then color disparity, it is ok, not really obvious, unless u pointed out the differences... And like yr ID said, closed the door, cannot see it at all. If this is my hse, I can lived with this...but then again, it depends on u and wifey... if it really bothers both of u, then redo it.

Hi Pomme, I like the paintings that your hubby picked up in Paris... Everything is expensive there but Paris is one place I used to fly to often with my last job. I used to fly there so often that I feel sick of Paris, but now I miss Paris! I regret never get anything for my new hse then, when I was flying there! In fact, not only Paris but many other exotic places I used to fly to... cos I have no storage in my mum's hse. Only a few mths ago, I happened to fly to the Middle east and I bot a small capet/ mat fm a Parkistan shop, very arabic looking silk mat that is very comfortable to feel... comes with a hefty price tag Paris have lots of nice memories for me and I am very lucky to be there in spring and summer most times, so the weather was beautiful. I used to stay with a pretty French gal when I was with my last job (in another country), she was my buddy and she was so french, typical french lady with personality... she always feel worry the cheese she bring fm her home may be too pungent for me, so she often wrap and put in a air tight container. The french loved their cheese! We got along very well and went out often... the last time I was in Paris last yr, I spent a week with her in a tiny apartment (very common there) when she was pregnant with her first baby! Hummm...sorry off topic abt reno...just got carried away looking at all yr Paris paintings, heheheh I am also worry next time nobody wan to buy my hse, cos I hack here, hack there and now become 1 bedrm and etc... But I hope to stay in my new place for at least a period of yrs..so now dun tik so much, hehehe

Another shopping day for new home: I went to Jimmy Textiles and got Shadow blinds (similar to Roller Blinds). It has a thicker top casing and covered the blinds fully at the top of the ceiling. The blind is like a big piece with 2 types of materials, one portion is colored n the other portion is translucent with air vents thru... U can then have the blinds, either all closed up like nite type, or the day type. Been really tough to find a round small dining table. Most places I went only sell 90cm and above. 1 shop offer me the aluminium metal type which u will see often placed outdoor for pubs, hahhaha I nearly give up finding one suitable one.... cos it cost alot more to customised a small size and none of the few shops I approached is interested to do it. In the end, I tot I will just dine in my kitchen cos I have already done a breadfast table for my carpentry. I walked into Kartell and I found my ideal dinning table! I bought the Philippe Starck Top Top dining table, Philippe Starck Ghost chair and Philippe Starck Stone stool. Yes, bedrms lamination on Mon and Tue.... The last few days ID been giving instructions to carpentry wkshop pple, measurements all finalise and they are fabricating. Then alot of carpentry will come in for installation. Followed by WCs n toilet accessories install last, so that workers will not used them. Next, install of lights sockets. Last round of painting... chemical wash... ID is following the schedule as promised, in fact, HO will be 8 Jan, hehhehe I am very happy with everything so far, it is a really hussle free reno.

Hi chipee, this Elmark fan is not like those powerful fan, like V6. It does not produce strong wind. It is more the design that attracts me, but the truth is, it is a useless fan, hehhehe I got the fan fm Elmark at Ubi, at $1388 before 15% discount.

wow, the place is really dirty looking.. Did the seller rent the whole hse out? I went to see one 3 rm resale in Toa Payoh, rented out to china pple, the place is like yr current place! The floor very dirty with pple staying in, the ceiling all dropping and see the steel rods... and the kitchen cabinets all dropping... My mum step in and wanted to leave immediately, hehehhe

Went up this morning and saw worker doing acid wash and washing all the floors in the hse. ID is so helpful, he helped me to arrange for the floor to be cleaned so Supreme pple can come in on Mon to lay the laminates. I did not get Supreme fm my ID but I got it directly mths ago... ID helped me arranged everything with Supreme I went to new place again at 6pm, the floor all so clean, I walked in bare foot, hehhehe N bos all my WC, toilet accessories and kitchen hood, etc coming in 2moro but I am flying 2moro, my ID is helping me to receive. Really tks to him for helping me so many things. He is a very busy ID yet also helping me with little things.
