Oh really, all same colour ah, didn't know that. Thought you all got different colour like black or something. This shows great MINDS think alike lor. Haha... -
I see, yes, do show us a photo of your problem. Yes, fully agree on the money spent "everywhere"... At least your pocket got burnt (still there), mine - no more pocket already, haha...
-
Pardon me, you mean rondy is not local?
-
Haha, I have no specialty as I can't really cook wor, unlike you, you seems to be a great chef (in the making?). I know you said before in some thread, preferably home-made food, so I'll see what my mother can do 吧...

Ok, will confirm my "attendance" by Wednesday, tentatively next Saturday should be fine. Preciousjam, if you are reading this, I'll PM you soon for the address - I should be able to confirm by Wednesday, latest. Now, the next "problem" is: don't know what to bring. Haha...
-
Haha, yes, yes, yes, full credit goes to you and preciousjam wor. So, the PPP "target audience", is it for the "Yeakers" ah??

I've bought quite a number of items from them over the years, but mainly involved study table, office chair, cabinets/drawers and there was one bed frame. So far, those thing I bought were still going "strong" until I decided to change. Haha... Even my recent purchase of glass study table & glass TV console was alright, no problem. The only thing is my office chair have not arrived - this I know, as I was told there was no stock, and stock will come late June/early July. I suppose it was more of each and everyone's personal experience with V.hive. For me personally, I would prefer V.hive, as the things there are relatively affordable, and the service was great - at least for me.

Not bad for the sofa, rondy also bought this one, but I think is of different colour. Wah, "crawl" sounds a bit "funny", haha. However, I think no need to "crawl" lor, by the wall there got a "little" side to walk. In fact, just stand up and walk along the bed also can mah. I can't really answer your question, coz I am sleeping alone, the whole bed is mine. Heehee... -

Yes pbtgal, I soooooo.... agree with that statement, I am now at that stage. *Sigh* Oh well, that's life isn't it. Haha... -
Hey Bon07, of course still can remember you mah, but pardon my "disappearance" for about a week though, haha... No, I didn't get bored over it, I guess it is good also to voice out (or just share it here), so that other forumers can help give you suggestions and ideas. So, you should blog more often on your process: for sharing, gathering ideas, and maybe solutions would come along. Hmm, my house so far so good, still quite empty as I haven't got time to move all the things over, I've moved about 90%. Main things like my Plasma TV haven't shift over, so right now I am TV-less here, haha... That said, I target to shift everything by end July latest - my "goal setting".

Ideal House Id

Hi NIL, as pbtgal has suggested, I believe it should possible to be arranged. For me, when I engaged him previously, I was too busy myself, thus did not asked him to bring me to see any of his ongoing projects. So far, it has been very smooth for me - from signing up, reno-in-progress, until handing over, I can say it was all according to schedule and I did not worry about anything during the reno process. For your information, please. -
Pardon me for MIA-ing, I can't confirm yet, but can confirm by the coming Wednesday. However, I looked at the name-list, is this PPP for the "Yeakers"?? Wah, that's good, I believe his house is nicely done up.

Update 10 Seahorse Sofa Together with the mattress came the sofa, dark brown in colour. For your viewing pleasure.
-
Pardon my "disappearance" for about a week, as I was (actually still IS) quite tied down with work, but now I shall take a break, haha... Update 9 Seahorse mattress is here!! Before that, I've been "tortured" sleeping on this single "miserable" foldable mattress for more than a week before my Seahorse mattress finally arrived on Thursday. After the mattress came, it quickly got "dressed up" and I finally can sleep "peacefully". "Naked" mattress. Mattress with quilt on it. Now, a proper bed with mattress, pillows and quilt. Nothing much was put into the decoration part around the bed, as you can see clearly from the photos, as I haven't got time to shop yet. Any good shopping ideas from you guys?

Hey Bon07, long time "no see", how's the reno so far? When is the estimated date of completion? Hope it has been smooth going and you have a more relax time?
-
Haha, thanks rondy. You never fail to amaze me with your prompt reply. Keep it up!! Haha...
-
Wah, $200 ah, that's quite a sum manz, haha... I would need to "get" a TV first, check for the clarity, before doing any "silly" things... Anyway, it is good to prepare ahead of time, get the necessary information, so that we won't be at a loss of what to do next.

Hi dyleen, just happen to see your question. You can always call your town council for the "Handyman Services", which they quote a standard price of $21.40 (with GST). They will get the "handyman" to replace your letter box lock. I got mine changed a few months back through my town council website, so you need to check which town council your flat belongs to and call them up. Click HERE to check the website address.

Read about it earlier but can't remember in whose blog, coz too many blogs & they all moved very fast. Haha... Anyway, thought I might as well post here and hopefully, some of you could help me with this question. Question As I read earlier about SCV points in another blog, my house also have 5 SCV points (3 bedrooms, 1 in new guest room, 1 in living room). I can't remember if I have discussed it before with my ID, but nevermind that now, the question is that I hear that the TV reception will not be as clear since there are 5 points, is this true?? There was a suggestion to rent a HD box from Starhub (to get a clearer image), which I believe it is provided that you are a SCV subscriber right? I do not have the intention of taking up SCV subscription, as I do not think it is a necessity, is there any other "solution" to get clearer image for TV reception?? I didn't know having more points the reception will be compromised, and right now, there is no TV in my house yet, so better be prepared early.

Wah 自己人, no wonder like cannot find your blog. So, you actually haven't started it until now ah. Haha... Congratulations wor!! Nice place you've got in TPY, though I don't stay there, but have been there a few times: very ideal location - near city. May your reno be smooth and easy (but Ideal House shouldn't be a problem lah! Haha...). Cheers!!
