If you just got it recently then call them to give you a replacement. I did the same thing for my Cellini bed frame. But if you got it for quite sometime already, then my suggestion just accept it as it is. I thrown away my cellini sofa less than 2 years old due to excessive peeling.

I use ariston induction for 2 years already. So far no problem and happy with its performance. Maybe you can consider Bosch as well Instead of vitroceramic, you should consider induction cos the surface won't be hot flaming hot to touch

I don't think it's quite necessary to have all handy equipment. Can use back the hole from the old lock. I did mine using a screwdriver and those screw provided only. If you didn't align it properly, it won't spoil the lock. Only it won't lock. However if you want to buy those with handle then it would be more challenging cos it requires 2 precise holes on the door. So my suggestion if you want to DIY, buy the lock only and use existing handle.

Velarine: it's formica 2mm glossy laminate. Some ID charge more for this type. 2 years already passed, the laminate still like new and quite scratch resistant also. No waverly reflection as well but it's fingerprint magnet. Need to wipe clean it frequently. Only my solid top start to deteriorating with plenty of fine scratches. Need a good machine polish in near future. Quite regret that I didn't choose quartz top by topping up a bit more for peace of mind. Only tip to maintain it by cleaning each time you finish cooking. Sometimes my solid top stained and I use a droplet of bleach to remove it.

The shipping cost is very cheap, so order 3 in separate transaction to avoid GST. I've been using Samsung Ezon for the past 3 years, also bought from eBay as well. Installed by myself and no problem at all. This relatively cheap product, I don't think warranty is necessary. Just buy a new one if spoilt

I think it's not only MHI agent that rip you off.. My experience with Sharp also the same. Called the agent for repair, need to pay $50++. Technician came just look look only, take few photos and left the site. I asked why never service, he said that $50++ only to check. If the compressor faulty, need to examine first and bring to their office (it will cost around $200 just to test and decide whether the compressor faulty)

Here's my own experience with Courts 5 years warranty for my Sharp system 3 aircon. I fully utilized their extended warranty each time the aircon broke down (always similar problem, blowing hot air). The technician came promptly, within 1 to 2 days after I lodge the report (outsourced to Song Kwang) However, it's been 4 times in this year I called them and the problem is not solved yet and always said that it's due to the regular cleaning is not clean enough (to avoid any dispute for extended warranty, I used Courts contract service too to clean the aircon regularly, outsourced to Comfort Aircon) Now, my aircon stop working at all (no more air coming out), they took the compressor unit and examined in their workshop for almost 3 weeks without any clear result when it will be back.

is your coffee machine is the built-in type? in the first place you should consider bosch,their 2 year warranty is outstanding and the design is much nicer than teka

Finally after enduring to clean the floor due to cellini sofa white fraction that felt apart every time we sat down, BoConcept Arco sofa that we ordered 3 months ago finally reach our home. Quite happy with the delivery and quality of the sofa. Hopefully the material and shape will remain the same in the long run

as promised, here's the update. With the scheduled delivery slot between 11am-1pm, the delivery guy came at 11:15am and promptly assamble the sofa. Within 15 minutes it's done and here's the result: Quality wise on first inspection is impeccable, hopefully the shape will retain in the long run

Maybe you should consider bosch & gaggenau as well. Few weeks ago, I went to Bosch showroom @ Jln Pemimpin to buy spare parts for my fridge and found that they got quite a selection of Bosch & Gaggenau ex-display at a very attractive price.

What I remembered from Teka was bad customer service and no stock for most of the items displayed in the showroom @ Clemenceau. Really pissed of with the staff attitude, cos almost anything that we asked, they don't have stock and they won't order for us if we don't buy in bulk (developer) It was in 2010, so I don't really know if the situation has changed.

Latest update of my order from BoConcept. Today I received a call from them confirming the delivery date. Very disappointed with the way he called and handled the situation. On the receipt and as agreed earlier when paying for the sofa, it is stated that the estimated delivery date will be on Saturday 21-Apr, but now he said that the slot are fully booked. He blamed me never pick up his call earlier on and also explaining that the delivery slot already fully booked few weeks ago (even though I ordered the sofa few months ago, not a few weeks ago. And if I picked up his call earlier, still what the use because the all the slots already taken) I don't want to exagerate the situation and now have to take leave on the weekday just to receive the sofa. Didn't know that the service quality and delivery schedule of expensive product also can be disappointed. Cross fingers that the sofa quality will exceed my expectation
