  1. Hi there! Congrats on a beautifully designed place. Just wanted to check with you if a wall-hung WC is approved by HDB? What did you get in the end for your toilet? Cheers
  2. Hi there, I came across your post and read all 12 pages in one go. I think this is by far, the t-blog which I can identify most with just some quick questions when you have the time to answer: 1 - Philips downlight is it LED? Do you find it sufficiently bright? 2 - How did you change the electrical plug for the Swiss Citiz edition? Just by cutting off the original and replacing it with the usual UK-type plug head? Thank you Cheers
  3. Can PM me your price for the Rinnai hob? imo, your choice should be determined by your style of cooking. If you use a Chinese wok, I think the Rinnai one makes more sense as you should still be able to utilize the other 2 burners at the same time. This would not be possible for the De Dietrich one as the top left and bottom right burner will be blocked by the size of the wok, although the plus point of the De Dietrich one is a smaller footprint on your kitchen top. Cheers
  4. Hi, may I ask how much did the washing machine cost? Thanks.
  5. I've just calculated the prices, for small size - SGD100, medium size - SGD120, large size - SGD140. Feel free to email me for more details.
  6. Hi all, I'm returning to Singapore from Europe in November and was wondering if there are any interested parties who would like to place orders for Longchamp Le pliage canvas bags (foldable). I believe getting them from Europe is cheaper than in the boutiques in Singapore and would be happy to carry back some for a small commission of 10% of the cost price, which is still cheaper from ordering it online and sending to Singapore. I am going to limit it only to the canvas ones and not the leather ones. You can find the whole range of colours at this website: Longchamp La pliage collection If you could help me out by specifying the following details, that would be great: > Colour (according to the website, there are 12 colours available) > Size (dimensions) > Quantity As a token of good faith, I will require a deposit of 5% of the total costs of purchase (inclusive of the commission). Interested parties, please email directly to me at wally168@gmail.com Cheers
  7. Hi, interested to know how much did you pay for your Bosch front load washing machine? Did you get it from Goh Ah Bee as well? Is it made in Germany or Thailand? How do you find the washing machine? Silent? Effective? Thanks.
  8. Quite surprised that no one is interested. Alright, I will lower the commission to 10%. To make it more convenient for comparison, here are the prices of the various models (note: quoted prices before postage but includes commission). Nespresso Citiz = SGD429, available in colours: Red, Black, Grey, Cream. (Retail price in Singapore SGD548) Nespresso Citiz with milk = SGD570, available in colours: Red, Black, Grey, Cream. (Retail price in Singapore SGD678) Nespresso Citiz limited edition (with Paris or New York print) = SGD470 (Not available in Singapore) Nespresso Citiz (Twin-towers) = SGD713 (Can't find the price on the Singapore website) To make this more attractive - I'm willing to throw in 20 capsules (flavour of your choice) in the shipment. I'm gonna start with these models for now. If there are parties out there interested in more sophisticated models, I'd be happy to see to your request and come back to you with a quote. As these models are brought in from overseas, you will not be able to enjoy after-sales service (i.e no warranty) and will need to use an electrical adaptor or change the electric plug-head to fit the Singapore plug-system. But what I'm offering here is wider variety, colours and a cheaper alternative (once you factor in the cost of the capsules). Interested parties, please email me at wally168@gmail.com for more details. Cheers
  9. Would like to know if there are any Singaporeans interested in procuring Nespresso Machines from overseas. I'm currently based in Switzerland and would be able to get the machines at a cheaper retail price. Postage fees and GST costs (if any) will be borne by the buyer. Item will be delivered via Suisse Post. I only charge a 13% commission per item purchased. Overall, I think it will still remain cheaper compared to buying in Singapore. There are also more varieties and models to choose from. You can go to this website to refer to the listed prices and the models available. http://www.nespresso.com/#/ch/de PLEASE PM ME IF INTERESTED.
  10. Hi, Will be in Europe and returning to SG with Nespresso Citiz Machine for a friend come Dec? Anyone wanna lompang? Should be very much cheaper than price sold in Singapore. http://www.nespresso.com/citiz/ (this is how it looks like) Please PM me if interested.
  11. Hi all, I'll be returning to Singapore from overseas (early December) and am able to bulk purchase the latest Citiz Nespresso Machine at a discounted price. Currently, the model retails in Singapore for SGD548 but I should be able to get it for SGD420-450 depending on the exchange rate. This represents a substantial discount to the current retail price - given that Nespresso is a highly controlled brand in Singapore. They would make fantastic Christmas presents for families, friends and coffee lovers. Aside from the machine, the box comes with a standard 12 pods of Nespresso flavours for you to taste as well as the instruction manual. I am able to get it in colours Black, Red, Grey, Ivory. Please refer to the link below for more details. https://secure.nespresso.com/precom/sima/fi...0G_1_sg_en.html I'll be bringing back a set for my sister so if anyone wants to join in, please feel free to msg me. Cheers
  12. Anyone has experience using Liebherr refrigerators? I heard that Libeherr actually does the manufacturing for Miele (who then slaps on their brand) but its actually the same product for a lot less $$$. Would be nice to know if its suitable for local use in Singapore. Cheers
  13. I have got a place but its not done up yet. However, based on my sister's experience - I would say that a feature wall is something you can do w/o. Reasons are: a)tiles are expensive b)if workmanship is not good, it looks bad c)its a dust/dirt accumulator d) the in-thing look will be out of fashion eventually. Just my thoughts.
  14. Out of curiousity, how much does a Bosch 7 / 8kg (germany model) costs in Singapore?? Is it called Logixxx 8? Btw Gaaraofthesand, where to get Miele washing machine with 5 yrs warranty? Which model + retailer did you get it from and for how much? Thanks.
