wats the btu for each room? std insulation is class 1, 3/8" armaflex/thermaflex/watever-flex and G23 copper piping. try ask ask for class 0, 1/2" insulation and G22 copper piping. do a search in this forum, it has been mention b4. pricing disparity shd not be more than 100-200 btwn the major players. personally, i will opt for toshiba or mitsubishi.

Earlier today, we got our unit audited by Master Chang. It was a roller-coaster ride during the 3 hour audit, notwithstanding our bazi reading (more on that later). Basically, our unit has no wealth spot..... also, our unit has a fair bit of undesirable sha qi due to external factors (which was so chim when Master Chang explained that it left us none the wiser). The unique layout didnt help matters too. Another bad news was that our MBR is not condusive and suitable to function as one....double whammy.... so, our MBR is now our de facto wiw cum study room and the adjacent bedroom is nw our MBR. Suffice to say, the entrance will be shifted forward for our new bigass MBR cum wiw cum study room. Some of u guys might hv probably guessed it; we nid to tilt the main door.....AND gate! another round of headache for us. That aside, if there's any consolation, the remedies are nothing more than a simple placement of 1 windchime as well as a vase with coarse salt right smack in the middle of our living/dining, albeit against the wall. We were strongly ecouraged to position our tv and sofa where the std placement of dining table shd be, aka role reversal btwn living & dining. And no water feature of any kind at all. This is on top of specific colour schemes for each individual rooms which was to be strictly adhered to. Oh well, me and my Mrs had a consensus, either we go thru the whole works or we dun at all. Will be meeting w our ID this Sat to try and work something out. Our reno commencement date is at end of Jul and my ID needs to submit the permit application for door tilting and reno works. Time is of the essence. The clock is ticking.........

my sofa is a frills free, good ol' 4 seater, nothing fancy save for the plushy cushioning effect for my ginormous (read: fat) body mass..... as for the design, its back to the drawing board now as the audit mandates some re-arrangement and re-design. my id is so going to kill me......not!

trust your eye. the rest of the pre-requiste(s) will fall along nicely. like u, i was once in a dilemma over which variant of tv to buy; whether to get lcd, plasma or LED. assuming u get pass that, along came the many brands and specs and the multitude of technical jargons and wat nots to further confuse u. having said that, i was in the market for a slim 46in led tv. y led and not lcd/plasma? 1) i'm a tech whore; 2) i find most, if not all, lcd and plasma chunky. so i narrowed down to 3 choices based on aesthetics, namely, sharp le820, samsung ua46c6200 and sony 46ex700. i opted for samsung bcuz me and my mrs liked wat we saw for the demo ('tho the ultra slim wall mount made my choice easier too, but i digress). now, i ain't no expert here (the expert here would be bro vicenzo70, u might wanna drop him a pm for advice), just wanna share w u on how to simplify the process of choosing ur ideal tv. i hope it would be useful to u.

Met up w my ID yesterday and off we went to Hafary for tiles selection. It was a mind boggling experience due to the sheer variety of tiles available in all shapes and sizes. Spent 2 hours contemplating on my tile selection with my Mrs b4 deciding on our choice with the help of my ID. its either fabric or leather for me. no 2 ways abt it. the former for its wahing ablility and the latter for its comfort and durability if properly taken care of. i used own a microsuede sofa from the now defunct barang barang, and lets just say i will nvr touch another microsuede sofa w a 10 foot pole. my 2 cents. then again, its ur home, ur choice and preference, so go w wat ur heart desire. personally, i have the hots for the xqzt variant.
