  1. Yeah Street Fighter IV. I play that game alot. Last time used to play RPG but I find it very time consuming... cuz I'm the type of person that like to collect every single item in the game. >.> PSP wootz, what you play ah.
  2. Bought the VC for $471. You need the no-frills renovation cost excluding furniture, and fittings? Fittings in renovation include toilet accessories toilet bowls sink basins taps showerheads water heater(s) stove oven hood lights fans air-con
  3. Plasma is better for movies? For my case, the deciding factor is what me and my wife watch. If focus mostly on sinkapore channels, get plasma. If use the TV to watch stuff like DiscoveryChannelHD, NatGeoHD, play computer games, play PS3, watch BlueRay, get LCD/LED
  4. Thanks for the suggestion Wah H96cm mirror, it will look very big O.O
  5. Hmm bro a suggestion for wardrobes. Most wardrobes have a depth of 60-70cm. From what I see from the picture, the width of the space outside the toilet probably is around 1.5m+- . If put a wardrobe there probably will leave around 80+cm of 'walkway' (slightly smaller than a door). Not really feasible if your wardrobe has drawers, as you need to put yourself further away from the wardrobe, bend and pull out the drawer.
  6. Day 34 - Finalising stages. My contractor came over to our new house today to take a look. Told him the remaining little stuff to be completed. Some painting to touch up (namely the gate area and the new wall socket area), installation of door bell and kitchen backsplash. All will be done one shot on Thursday wootz. Some updates. Went to buy a pair of spotlight over at IKEA today for the altar today. Not wanting to incur additional installation costs (or rather I am too excited to see the end product... lolx), I took on the initiative and installed them myself. Not too shabby, though can see the wire dangling outside. The 2nd picture is taken when all other lights are off besides the altar spotlight. Since there are 2 of them (sharing the same diode and power) and I only need one, I just place the 2nd spotlight on top of the altar. Nice effect it creates I can say. Time to finish up the puzzle.
  7. Personally I find it a bit weird also, so dun need to paiseh :3 Anyway it is just a temporary mirror before we get the big ikea one lolx, since we have 2 small ones left over.
  8. Yep Galant is the name of the desk series. It is called 'shape-shifting' cuz of the amount of desk extensions it has, you can sort of build up the work-desk of your dreams. Pictures ah, I'll post more when I sort out my pictures. Took around nearing 700+ pictures from start of 1st appointment (when we first view the house) till today, nearing end of renovation. Thanks, we 'kope' alot of ideas from elsewhere too :3
  9. Yeah, probably that's the reason why I feel weird also. Probably use that as temporary measure ba lolx. The ideal one will be this mirror, which is exactly the same length as the shelf wall. See when we can pop by IKEA again ba lolx. These days very 'not free' haiz. I'll try when I shift in in a week, thanks for the info. Must have contrast de haha. The white one suits the dark floor laminates so I put it there in the study wor. Black one I place it somewhere in-between the living room and the foyer, where the floor tiles are white :3
  10. Some random pictures I took during the day Testing out whether the rotating trays can hold weight... Hob unveiled!! Previously they were still encased in styrofoam. Kitchen decor. Pots given by my mum as a gift for the new house. View of the studyroom from living room sofa. OMG at the wires. I need to get some cable management accessories.
  11. Day 33 - Remaining carpentry works These are additional carpentry that we ask Patrick to do. As usual, the workmanship is superb. Nothing to 'hiam' at all. Thanks blue-diamond and others for your altar idea. Find it really suits my house so I boldly suggest to my contractor to help me recreate the altar. It is a 7ft altar. Find it looking weird if it extends all the way to the ceiling eating into the cornice. He even threw in 2 soft-close hinges to dampen the closing of the altar. Really considerate of him. Dressing table at the walk-in wardrobe section. Just a simple shelf and small mirror. Feel a bit strange having a small mirror at the end of the 'passage', probably I'm not used to it yet ba
  12. zzz use my wife's nick to post just now lolx. Day 32 (Friday) - Mass delivery of remaining furniture and appliances Whoa the delivery ppl they must have 'pak kat' first. All delivered at the same time. At one time I have 3 different companies in my house shifting in the furniture Master bedroom bed-frame and the loan-mattress (Our mattress will be coming in 2weeks from now.) The mattress comes with 2 full latex pillows Fridge! Washing machine at service balcony. Need to get contractor to shorten the pipe so that the washing machine pipe can fit in.
  13. I am Nekorin's wife hehe We didn't try other banks cos we applied the loan a bit late so no time to wait for other application to be approved... They took ard 1 week +...luckily my contractor was understanding abt it and never really pressed us for payment..
  14. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~~~~~~~ I reach home liaoz then I found out that I left my camera at the new house. Supposed to updates photos tonight
  15. Nono, I got my contractor to do a backsplash for me over the hob area. What I'm worried about is the sink area(wet area) where the water will splash onto the wall everytime we wash the dishes.
  16. The extra drilling comes in when I need to reposition my wall hanging stuff (ASKER series). Sorry didn't really notice what I'm typing, the grammer is so wrong lolx. What I meant is, if I use the FRAMESTA as a backsplash, I might need to reposition the ASKER stuff, which will make another 8holes in my wall.
  17. Nope..it is the space above the tabletop, I use IKEA's wall hanging series (ASKER) to create more hanging/storage space. The kitchen is from my contractor :3
  18. Kitchen tabletop space IKEA'fied More kitchen pictures will come when we unpack everything after handover
  19. Wah thanks ossify for the idea. The FRAMSTA idea is good, probably 1panel is more than enough lolx. But then I just IKEA'fied my ikea walls, a bit hard to work frame the thing unless I redo the whole drilling again hmm. As for PRAGEL NN, what is it for? to hold panels? The item size doesn't seem to tally with the picture leh.
