yes, not sure u been quoted how much, got people quote me $2000 for this 2 pieces of glass... uncle in fact quoted me his base price (cus he say this one he don't want to earn $$, jus pay direct to the glass installer), so price is much lesser than $2000

not really lei.. cus i still have quite alot of things not done yet: 1) room doors 2) toilet shower screen 3) 10% tiling work not yet complete 4) carpentry 5) plattform 6) windows & window grilles 7) installation of lights so keep my fingers crossed.. i hope by this mth can all finish...

if u shower screen is so high, will u be suffocated inside while bathing? haha... unless u got windows in the shower screen ?

tou i am not engaging tau interior, i must say he did my brother in law flat well and within a very tight dateline.. defects that is reported also very promptly rectified...! really thumbs up to Uncle winson! he is full of knowledge, find him do ur house, no regrets!

Basically it only covers your house structure - your renovation, home contents (like furniture, electrical appliances) not covered. you need to buy additional coverage especially u have renovation... some plans also cover liability - meaning if your house on fire, n spread to ur neighbour, your neighbour can sue u to pay for the damages.. with insurance, they will pay for u! u can consider NTUC home insurance if u on tight budget...basically as a guide, it is a home contents insurance, so u can buy a plan of coverage enough to cover your renovation n your furnitre n electrical appliances will do... cos no point over insure where things in your house don't add up to that much.. because when it comes to claim, they will pay according to your item value LESS depreciation...

i think it is EPF foam, a kind of foam that HDB approve for use leveling in hdb

The ID never go to site, the workers protest never recd salary, lots of hidden cost, failed to protect his existing marble flooring resulting many scratches and REFUSED to take responsibility... etc! after listening, reading n witnessing all the possible bad things that may comes along, i rather go with a $10K discount than to pay $10K more n still have the risk of running into problems. Side note: seems like some of ah soon competitors is having 'red eyes' over his popularity over here.. (looking at some of the post in this thread that is somehow questionable..)

oh dear! did u tell uncle about it? well if it is damaged due to their negligence, uncle will have to be responsible to u... have u told him about it? anyway the concealed wiring in ur toilet, mine also kena... meaning, tiles already up but wiring not up, one of it, the electrician managed to drill a hole into the tiles (no cracks at all), so no problem. one of the toilet, uncle say will retile the affected tiles.. so no worries, if u already tell him where u want the wiring, write it down n place a paper there. if he forget, he will retile at his own cost... (i think iy is only right for him to take responsibility)
