so what did i lost? I paid AS in full 2months ago. only tiling & ceiling done. so, how much did i lost???!!!????? i spent another around $18K (NOT YET THE FINAL BILL) to do the remaining work. how much did i lost???!!!????? jaskel, u keep saying a fairer way of handling the profit, then i would say: if there is any profit, it should be paid to me first! i not only lose money, my ex-house items still paying rental to store in the warehouse. i am staying in a room that i am paying rental. i am delayed the longest!! 10 June 2009 - now. of course in terms of situation wise, i may not be the worst. cus i still have some money to pay and do the remaining unfinished work. other houseowners may not have the $$ and hence stuck there.. i have money to move on with my reno doesn't mean i am better off than other people.. n vice versa... i didn't want to suggest a fairer way not because i can't think of any, it's because since this is already agreed upon among u & jesslyn and already PAID to them to do their house, so what's IS THE POINT OF SUGGESTING AGAIN????? cus when my hubby went down, u told him that money of $3k already paid for jesslyn work. so what's IS THE POINT OF SUGGESTING AGAIN????? anyway all houseowners, all are money lost!! matter of how long the delay and how much money lost!

first of all, let me clarify why i was at the scene. cus u posted $3K. i called AS immediately and demand him pay me $3k. he SWEAR TO ME is only $200 - if i don't believe, i can go down and witness.. he would rather i go down and be his witness... AND, HE DID ASK ME TO ASK THE REST TO GO-- but it was a too short notice!!! and assuming, if all the people indeed go down to the place and witness, what difference does it make?? whether i was there or ALL was there, what is the difference???? so my hubby went down. cus if he has money, HE SHOULD PAY US FIRST. my reno ACTUALLY started way back in June. first payment receipt dated 09 June 2009! AND PLEASE STATE CLEARLY WHAT DO U MEAN BY: "The intention/motive was clear when he asked Mr seashell to appear on our meeting place, why fini, why jess or the rest of the victims he didn't asked." PLEASE KINDLY EXPLAIN???????

oh dear, jailed for merely $130 is really not worth it... actually alot of people already lodged report against him... today i met AS, he said, he is very busy now to earn $$ or if not, is wait to be sue n go jail... i duno wat to say to him also? i also want my money back.. but already alot of people queueing up to sue him n etc liao... so who wanna sue him or small claim court...., do it fast!

i would hope the discussion on jesslyn n jaskel to end... cus no point talking over it anymore... afterall the money is indeed put to a good use... that is the most important thing now.. if bypassers or contractors who is reading this and wish to stir up further, pls, consider people's feelings...like how would jesslyn n jaskel feel..? n also, people may even think i m the one who post all these!!! i have nothing personal against jesslyn or jaskel, hence, dun kindly don't use me n toa payoh houseowner as a scapegoat to question them or watever.. yes, jaskel may not have mention about the $$ in the first place, but at least he is not like AH SOON, take the money n never do anything. he make 2 houseowners happy! give jaskel a break! all the houseowners here all lose money, matter of how much only...i lose $15K and still counting, not yet the final bill!!!!! PLUS my storage fees of my exhouse items and my rental every month.. it is vvvvv painful and upset but guess we have to learn form this painful lesson... this is more impt! I hope all renotalk viewers or people who is going to reno, learn from our mistakes!!

is urs scheduled on 3 jan? mine was. i actually wanted to change but she say if i dun get it deliver by 3rd jan, i may hv to wait for next delivery to sg then can deliver liao.. so no choice, got to rush rush my reno oh yes, must check all items when delivery.. especially sofa, easy to get scratches... i guess u mus have bought alot from them ... their new dinning sets are very nice but all big n super EX...

HI I also sell my own house... did advert n etc myself... (even go to neighbouring flats to drop flyers...) end up, i also sold my house via property agent, it was an open listing. she was asking for 2% but i didn't agree as i told her i did advertising myself in the end, i told her if she could sell for me at a certain agreed price, i will give her 1% comm.. she did and i paid her 1% comm...

whichever person we take or engage, is like a bet.. no ones will know what will happens next... i wish u all the best in your journey in engaging a contractor or ID>..

hi would like to clarify things - jason is a very kind person but i think he has his limitations and ricebowl to look after too... i have also seek his help only because i wasn't able to contact the electrician and i need him to complete my work for me... i also feel bad to find him at this time where there are houses he need to HO especially during this festive season.. to help me is just a kind favour from him, not his obligations... anyway i will have to pay the works incurred to be fair to jason....can say that i am actually engaging jason to finish my house things... i apologize to all jason's customer if it has affected your HO in one way or another (when he send his workers to do some of my jobs)

well.. u got any proof to support? perhaps we can drop by "music lounges" to take a peep of him? haha...

i would like to say something.. i am a frank and direct person n pls don't be offended or anything because what i am saying is what i think. not against anyone in particular... yes, jaskel had indeed help jesslyn. prices wise, all can witness, cheap or not? profit anot? sometimes it is true that there is no free lunch, however, if one claim NOT making PROFIT, then it should be. this is one's honesty and integrity. if houseowner see his prices and decided to still go with him, it is then a 'willing buyer, willing seller'... like jaskel said, if MJ reno 7 items, those she find it exp, she can go elsewhere to do. i think this is fair statement. the only thing i am not happy is, it is not 'TRANSPARENT' enough in the first place. when jaskel renovated tiong bahru 32, he knows there is a $3000profit. no mention of this at all to us. perhaps this not intentionally to hide from us... perhaps it is due to too much concentration on doing the affected the owners house that he didn't have time to do so.... in this thread, obviously i am delayed the LONGEST, followed by is jesslyn. so i guess other houseowner don't really can say anything if comparing on whose damages is the most or delayed the longest. no ONE CAN UNDERSTAND THE FRUSTRATION OF 6 months RENOVATION & losing 10s thousands of dollars BETTER THAN I* DO (*or even jesslyn). .. half fixed. the remote is faulty. so they will replace another one for me later... got to pay $50 for it.. they claim is wrong installation. dun like their service! i mean, their parts is also faulty wat. they claim if wrong installation, then we have to bear $50 repair charges. if purely parts faulty, then no need to pay.. so tired of arguing, so just pay them, UNWILLINGLY.

hi understand ur point. could u identify yourself? cus most of us here know each other... so that if we do have a group meeting, we'll ask u along? or if u have a group meeting, ask me along? r u having AS old number. he has a new number... not sure the no. u having is it the right one? situation is, he still send some labour here and there to do some works for some houseowners... he has one worker bangala still working for him, one electrician, one ceiling work, painter...all these i mention is providing labour... if u worry AS on refund part, get him to sign or give u receipts or something... so far i only gotten him to issue me payment receipts..
