  1. Will address your concerns via email. And yes, you decided on the tiles. I never said I did. I am willing to rectify the locks on the cupboard as that was my (and the carpenter's) oversight.
  2. Glad you like your flooring Pergo is very good for scratch resistance, but not against a drill bit that is attached to a hammer drill Can see the damage done at my Tampines tblog.
  3. nope, didn't charge for Blum cost, just soft close owner decided not to do L-box so plan changed.

  16. hi jaskel, i think we have a misunderstanding. the words i used were "PVC corner strips to ensure walls are plastered straight". i did not say that PVC corner strips can make your walls plastered straight. i guess we use the PVC corner strips differently because i use it to ensure the corners are straight, before plastering the rest of the wall flat, in line with the PVC corner strips, which would eventually make the walls plastered straight. but i guess most owners wouldn't really know/care about this. went to meet the carpenter/electrician/plumber on-site today to talk business electrician commented that the walls are plastered very nicely with good workmanship. i was so glad that a professional noticed the good workmanship heh i thought your reno is already completed long ago.
  17. you should legally get all the keys, although practically they will most likely withhold the letterbox and gate padlock key from you. you won't need to update NPP till you actually move in. utility bills you should not transfer to your name till the owners has vacated after the 2 months. interesting fact that the utilities can be under their name although the property is under your name.
  18. ooo the pillows are nicely priced at $30 each. i would love to buy a few but have to meet a client tonight
  19. List terms and conditions if for some reason the owner does not give you the flat after 2 mths. Get the owners to sign on it and get the agents to sign as witnesses. Eg. if they don't move out when they're supposed to, you have to pay more rent if they leave behind all their furniture, you have to dispose for them. if they remove/damage the built-in items which you thought you want to use, you will have to pay more for reno.
  20. $170 is pfr for kitchen worktop cheapest range for quartz flooring would be 30psf. sounds like a better price? anyway, some pics for my installation of Belian flooring in my bathroom Great success
